Very interesting to see these stats as a lot are hookers. Does that say that hookers shouldnt be so defensive. Maybe im right about macca and the hooking role.

What are you trying to imply here? Your point seems lost in a lot of your innuendo. There are only two hookers on the ineffective tackle list, and one is Macca.

Those stats are really skewed by the fact we couldn't wrap the panthers up for some reason. We are only conceding 12 points a game so its not like we're defending extremely poorly.

If anything it show's the players are covering for eachother.

Would obviously prefer that we tighten up defensively and make the initial tackle.

Gillett has been tackling with intent so I'm pretty surprised to see him on top of this list.

I see 3 Ennis 5 Friend 6 Ballin 8 Rein 9 Lichaa 11 Granville 13 Smith all are in top 20

Ok thats strange. Im getting last years list. So Gillett is on course to be up there again. Not a good stat. And seeing those stats the Broncos as a whole need to tighten up. The Panthers offloads didnt help thats for sure.

Either they are using different stats this year, or the competition has gotten woefully inept at tackling. Making ineffective tackles at nearly double the pace as last year.

anyways at this stage of the season its hard to expect any real reliable indication of overall success rate, so even tho it means little in the context of the year its still hard to show up and drop ur dollars when some of the footy being played is trial-standard (granted we're talking a miniscule sample period here..).. but if i was in town id struggle to drag myself to this one if i wasnt a member. 50/50 chance at best at this rate and have to hope half the crew have blinders and turn things around and/or NQ have a poor return.

not to be too much of a fairweather bitch but still pretty damn confident of forking out for finals tix.. even if we're scrambling at the edge of the 8 come S.O.O.
