Lol Norman to fullback and Hunt to five-eight. McGregor is desperate as ****.

Hunt appeared playing injured. He would be a good 9 for another team

It goes to show how little Mary rates Dufty. Hunt suffered a knock early in that second half which could have easily been used as an excuse to make a change, but they go with Dufty who was a key ingredient behind their 2018 surge.

He was the one back who possessed that bit of danger for them, somebody who could convert half-breaks into points. He wasn't Tom Trbojevic or James Tedesco, but in their squad he was a real strike weapon you could base your attacking plays around.

The Dragons didn't play towards him on Saturday. When they weren't just playing for a kick, they were largely just playing towards Frizell who tried his heart out, but was well and truly covered by the Warriors. We rarely saw any inside passes or short kicks behind the line with Dufty chasing. Usually when Dufty saw any ball, it was on a spread with the defence on the front foot, a waste of his speed and acceleration.

Regardless, at least a change was made. I was worried Mary was just going to shift a few players around on the bench and call it a day. This line-up should suit what they were going for against the Warriors with three playmakers around to give them some better end of sets options. I feel like Norman is wasted at fullback and should just be a roaming five eighth regardless since that structure worked so well for the Dragons with Hunt-Widdop prior but I guess this is Mary's way to inject fresh blood into the 17.

They're going to have to work for it against the Bulldogs. Foran is a big inclusion and if he can hit the ground running, he should provide them with the direction they've been sorely lacking in their opening two games.

I tell you what, when Frizell goes to Newcastle next year, they are going to be heavyweights. If Bradman Best becomes available, I’d take him as a centre.

Best's dad is from Ipswich and his grandma still lives there. Bradman is up here all the time. Fun fact- Best played for Queensland under 17 in 1991; Queensland won 34-14 and who should get two tries but Anthony Seibold.

They're still good mates.

Will be keen to see how the Warriors respond in the second half. So far it's been another lop-sided game with Penrith largely scoring off the back of mistakes more than their own hard work.

As I type this Luai crosses over for Penrith.

I just wonder how much longer this media spin is going to persist?

Just watching Keary, Luai, Brown and the rest of the halves creating things out of nothing is just making me upset. Milford has fallen so far down the halves ranks.

We should have signed George Williams 4 years ago.

At least the Warriors are keeping them to 16; that’s only half of where we were at halftime.

62% possession to Penrith after 65 minutes, 26-0.

Another boring one sided game.

I wonder if Souths/Storm will buck the trend?

This 6 again rule has turned the game into a hybrid touch football.
The 6 again calls are so inconsistent and offside is barely being watched.
Lopsided scoreline are not entertaining me at all but you know, who cares as long as the Sydney sides do well.

I fucking hate the one ref everyone is offside and then when the ref wants to favour someone he’ll finally call a team on it or just throw out the 6 again! V’landys is a fuckhead

I really don't like the new rule. It's blow out after blow out, and that's not really fun viewing. Nothing beats a close low scoring contest with some back and forth. I don't think anyone enjoys one team rolling over the other as soon as they get any momentum.

Guys we all need to be pro active with this. I have emailed the NRL and voiced my opinion
Be respectful but make it clear how you feel about this.
They have the option of bailing on this after this season being what it is.
If no one complains nothing will change.

We're so fucked. Bottom 4 might not be out of the question to be honest. We are just not adapting to this rule change whatsoever and Seibold doesn't seem to have a clue how to train around it.

Mate, amongst all your posts since last night and today, I think you need a Valium and lay down. I love the passion, but **** me, a heart attack ain’t worth it.
Pass one of those valiums this way.
Been alternating between raging and despair since last nights game.

Would happily help. I’ve got a shitload as I don’t use them much these days. I must admit, I had one last night after the game and one today, but that was more muscle spasm related after work the other night, but it actually does explain my laid back attitude today to last night’s thrashing, now that I think about it...

Is that you Darius
