It's shaping up to be a fairly lopsided round of the competition and the competition front-runners of the Panthers, Rabbitohs, Storm and Eels should make short work of their opposition. It's just a matter of whether of them get through the game unscathed or actually blink and give away an unlikely loss.

For me there's two games I'm curious to check out and that's Gold Coast/Canberra and Sydney/Warriors. The former because it's the best match-up of the round and after getting two wins underneath their belt I'm curious to see how the Titans go against an established top team. It's a real shame they've been robbed of the home ground advantage heading into the game. Coming off the high of beating their Queensland teams, I was curious to see the Gold Coast fans get behind the team and how the boys would respond to that, but the makeshift plans could hurt their momentum somewhat.

As for Sydney I think it will be a good barometer for where they're at after their horror week against a Warriors team that's really embraced the methodical Melbourne Storm style which they got from Kearney. I'm excited to see how Sam Walker handles the big time, he's one of the best prospects to emerge since Cleary so I think he could really turn a negative into a positive for the Roosters. After last year's shock exit, it seemed like the Roosters were going to have to look towards the future regardless so this may be the head-start they needed.

a couple of interesting selections.

Corey Allen losing the fullback role to Meaney
Averillo dropped
Dylan Walker still Manly's fullback

Not sure if you saw the report, but Allen is still icing his ankles after Isaako's wicked side step last Saturday night. Might be back round 6.

Agree with @Big Pete , the Titans vs. Raiders game has me the most interested this round. A shame that Tapine and Scott are out as would have liked to see both sides at full strength.

Some interest to be had on the Cowboys response to a bit of negative media attention this week and if the Roosters make a statement after being written off by many of the Ch 9 and Fox personalities (I find it hard to use the word experts in this case)

Some seemingly 1 sided matchups for the Easter Friday and Monday games which is a shame for neutral fans but I’m sure Manly and Doggie fans will be desperate for even just a close game whilst us lot on this forum and the Tigers will be hoping to build on some positives from last week.

Sam won't ever die of a stress related illness- so calm this week. I can see him doing a Mark Waugh- 100 on debut calmly gets back to the room and says they should have picked me three years ago.

When he fizzes his first pass 15 meters either side of his body to an unmarked man NZ will know what they're dealing with.

Best passing game on a kid I have ever seen.

Says plenty about my personality but I am secretly hoping he sucks, I'm just so fucking sick of hearing about him.

It's hard to cop knowing the Broncos gave his father his opportunity in the NRL.

I think this game is huge for the Roosters, we know they have some great players all over the place but it means nothing if the halves can't get them into good field position and deliver good ball, as we all know as Bronco fans.

They are absolutely relying on this kid, it's not a case of development anymore. They need to him to perform, right now.

How glorious has it been listening to them get bagged?

Have to say - love the Panther's pink jersey.

Kikau is going to turn DCE into a skid mark

Manly are terrible. Not Bulldogs terrible, more like Cowboys terrible.

Does cherry ever tackle with his shoulder?

Lordy, Penrith are racing the clock at the moment
