i just hope we learn from what we did really well tonight and build on that. if we do that, we'll get the two points.

I'm very impressed with the effort and all, but I'm still very worried about our spine. Titans forward pack is a lot better than the Storm's, we might not dominate like we did in tonight's second half.

^^ Agreed.

Injuries are concerning though - Hoffman was near best on the park tonight, and Stagg was running some good angles too - is McGuire right for next wk? I know Hodges will be back, hope everyone else comes through OK.

Titans are playing some good footy at the moment though. Big men on the edges will be the plays to watch!

Hoffman and Stagg likely to be out of this match. Hopefully McGuire is back

Build on what we did against Melbourne. We can win.

My side if Hoffman, Stagg & Show are all out...

1. Corey Norman
2. Delroy Berryman*
3. Jack Reed
4. Justin Hodges
5. Lachlan Maranta
6. Ben Hunt**
7. Peter Wallace
8. Ben Hannant
9. Andrew McCullough
10. Sam Thaiday
11. Alex Glenn
12. Matt Gillett
13. Corey Parker

14. Kurt Baptiste
15. Nick Slyney
16. David Hala
17. Scott Anderson

* It'll most likely be Kahu but I don't recall him playing too much wing and I'd much rather play a natural in the position. That position doesn't get enough respect these days.

** Can't see any unforced changes from happening but it's clear Prince just isn't clicking with the side and is a liability. Great goal kicker and perhaps he'd gel better with a guy like Hunt but I can only base it on from what I've seen and Prince is just a bit off. Could go either way, but it's just difficult to justify.

Wonder how long until Jake Marketo gets a call up. He could be an option if we need a backrower. I just can't see Hook changing the halves even if I think he should.

Prince and Hunt clicked together in the Warriors trial.....once again Peter Wallace is the anchor around our collective halves necks. He needs to be shifted out. McC is getting worse.

Great to see Kahu get through the game......I thought he stated to gain some confidence towards the later stages of the 2nd half after a somewhat shaky start. Maybe start Reed on the wing and leave Kahu there to partner Hodges.

How long are Dodds and McGuire out for....?

Eh, trial form doesn't mean a lot to me and even then they weren't TOO impressive. How many points did they score together? 0?

6. Wallace 7. Hunt 9. Macca 14. Baptise.

That's another option I'd like to see. Either Prince is out of the halves or Wallace, preferably Prince because Wallace looks like the better half IMO.

Lol .......and Wallace has been the reason we've been scoring so many now?

Common denominator in our half problem for years has been Wallace.

I'd like to see Prince and Hunt together and Wallace at dummy half. It could seriously turn our season around....

If we can build on what we did tonight I would feel very confident about a win on next Friday. We will need to be at our best though as the Titans are playing great footy at the moment.

my fave game of the year. hopefully there will be a massive amount of fans in the maroon and gold in the away supporters section!

I respect your point Fourex, but Wallace is at least getting us good field position (well for the most part, WTF was up with his grubber for himself in the first half?) and I believe he knows his role in the side better than Prince and isn't as big a liability.

At this stage, I'd prefer him over Prince. Although, I do see Prince as the bigger talent. Just goes to show, talent doesn't mean everything.

We have Marketo on the books? **** me, if that's true it's a crime that he's not playing.

Do you rate Slyney that highly? Hes an honest Qld Cup toiler imo.

Kahu played majority of his 20's on the wing, I think the strapping is really hampering his movement atm and its making him fairly ineffective in attack.

I think hala may get a run pending his showing for fins this weekend, with lui moving to the backrow to replace Stagg.

Plays for the Dolphins so the possibility exists.

Would prefer him over Lui, but then again I'd prefer Steve Michaels over him. I think we need more size though, would give a guy like Slyney, Hala or J. Wallace a shot before him since there already acquainted with the top squad.
