So, how's this one going to go down then?

Cowboys have had a similar start to the season as us... maybe even poorer.

I would say poorer given their roster and how highly they were rated going into this season. I would love to put back to back wins together, would give the team a lot of confidence and having Sam back will help things, I think after our last two games we got a good chance.

Cowboy do seem to always lift against us, we'll need to be prepared. Matt Bowen especially, he always seem to find his best form against us. Hannant and Parker will need to have the same impact they had tonight, because Tamou and Scott are just deadly. I can't seem to remember, but I believe Graham plays on their right, so it could be a delicious opportunity for us to attack the left for the 3rd week in a row.

Everyone lifts against Brisbane, It's the cool thing to do and generally winds up with us looking stupid (Parra last season)

Might have McGuire back for this one.

Looking at this game a couple weeks ago, I would've said the Cowboys were certainties but now I'm not so sure. The Cows are hardly stable with their halves/dummy half combo with Morgan and Moore being sent down to Q cup this weekend. And whilst we are not exactly flushed with talent in that area either, at least it is has been the same combo all season. Princey is still finding his feet at his new club after a stressful off season and will get much better, Ben Hunt has been very good these past 2 games and needs to play a bigger role, Wallace needs to be put out to pasture and quick smart, how much more do we have to put up with? The forwards will be the key in this match and on paper their pack is much stronger but the Broncos now have momentum and confidence and don't be surprised if the bookies have the Broncs as slight faves next Fri. nite. Think we might just get over the line. Corey Norman will once again lead the way.

We will dominate them.

That said that Bowen guy that plays fullback, he always seems to pull a winner against us.

1. Norman
2. Hoffman
3. Reed
4. Hodges
5. Kahu (not impressed with maranta. Thought he was meant to be fast)
6. Prince
7. Wallace
8. Hannant
9. McCollough
10. Thaiday
11. Glen
12. Gillet
13. Parker

14. Hunt
15. McGuire if fit if not then Lui
16. Hala
17. Anderson

Reason I go with thaiday at prop allows McGuire to work his way into the game after a bit of a layoff and Gillet has really been impressing me especially in defence so that also allows him to start. With that bench we have a lot of impact.

cowboys will get their groove back tomorrow against the panthers. they'll put 30 to 40 on them. will be a huge match next friday but i reckon its our turn to get the win.

If he drops Maranta, he needs to drop Wallace or Prince too. It doesn't make sense to just drop Maranta.

The Cowboys have been worse considering they have high expectations and a very good team on paper, yet their only win so far was against a weakened Bulldogs team. Will be interesting to see how they go tommorow against a willing Penrith side, expect them to win though.

Could not see us winning this one before last week, crazy to think we could be equal on form.

Your hate for our halves is out of control buddy. Calling for theirs heads on the back of two increasingly impressive performances is nuts.

This. Just keep working on the combinations, discipline and commitment. Like we have seen, the form seems no fluke, and everyone is contributing.

Alec would pot them if they found a cure for cancer. Fair dinkum.

Was surprised to see Alec posting after a win, normally turns up after losses. Sticks true to form though and mainly has bad things to say about the team.

If we improve on this weeks performance we should be able to beat the Cowboys. Since the Roosters game the whole team has decided to have more of a crack IMO. Only changes I would make would be Thaiday and McGuire in and Lui and Slyney out at this stage. I am not a huge fan of Maranta but he wasn't bad enough to drop last night.

Can't see anyone just being dropped......though a winger with speed would be nice.

Cowboys are a bit like the wounded Tiger at the moment. We'll have to be wary.

That said......I think we'll smash 'em !!

Just on Maranta, not having a go, but I found it weird how far behind Norman he was when he sliced through that gap early in the first half.

He's meant to be pretty quick isn't he? Maybe he just wasn't reading the play, and didn't expect Norman to slide through the line... but to me, it looked like he was really struggling to gain ground and catch up.
