Coming off a disappointing fortnight, Brisbane have an opportunity to turn it around against of course Benny's team.

Fans will be demanding a lot of changes as the stars have yet to really shine at the Broncos and after such a positive start, things for Griffin's men are beginning to turn sour.

Will the tide turn? Or will the spiral continue?

After tonight's effort we couldn't even grind out a win and if we can't do that it doesn't leave me with a lot of confidence, I can't see Griffin making any surprise changes to be honest for our next match and we will continue the dismal football we have been playing since 2012.

The spiral will continue. Griffinball is back and its here to stay as long as the coach does.

after the last two weeks it might be better if we keep losing rather than scrap together junk wins.

Our team aside, I believe the Knights will lose to Canberra this week. I can't see them losing 3 games in a row. I may reassess my thoughts if the Knights beat Canberra though.

knights will win imo. mullen is back. raiders are pretty average. they are like the titans, have absolutely nothing in attack. and just rely on adlib brilliance from milford. with mullen to steer the knights around less pressure on tyrone roberts they will control the game and get up by 6 to 12 points.

Jayden Nikorima scored 3 tries tonight, Kodi Nikorima scored 2 tries.. I think it's time for one of them, if not both of them to at the very least got a shot in first grade, I wouldn't be completely against trialing them both next weekend, Jayden at Five-Eighth, Kodi at Fullback (Or whatever, they can both play either spot)

1. K.Nikorima
2. Hoffman
3. Copley
4. Hodges
5. Vidot
6. J.Nikorima
7. Hunt
8. McGuire
9. McCullough
10. Parker
11. Glenn
12. Thaiday
13. Gillett

14. Oates
15. Hannant
16. Kennedy
17. Lowrie

The 2 victims would be Barba & Reed, I thought Reed showed a bit of improvement tonight, but he still looked under-done, could definately use a few weeks in Queensland Cup and (or) recovering from shoulder surgery, same with Barba, he's shown virtually no improvement after his pretty good first game for the Broncos, in fact I think he's got worse each week, he needs at LEAST a month in Queensland Cup and (or) recovering from ankle surgery, he seems a lot slower than previous years, and obviously looks like a 10 year girl under the high ball.

1 Josh Hoffman
2 Lachlan Maranta
3 Dale Copley
4 Justin Hodges
5 Daniel Vidot
6 Kodi Nikorima
7 Ben Hunt
8 Josh McGuire
9 Andrew McCullough
10 Ben Hannant
11 Matt Gillett
12 Sam Thaiday
13 Corey Parker
14 Corey Oates
15 David Hala
16 Francis Molo
17 Ben Barba

1 Josh Hoffman
2 Lachlan Maranta

10 Ben Hannant
11 Matt Gillett
12 Sam Thaiday
13 Corey Parker
14 Corey Oates
15 David Hala

That is almost perfect. The only other change would be the coach.

6 Nikorima
7 Hunt
8 McGuire
9 McCullough

10 Hannant
11 Gillett
12 Thaiday
13 Parker

14
Kennedy
15 Hala
16 Glen
17 Oates

pretty much what i'd go with. dont know about the 6 but i would just put anyone there who has at least played as a 6 before and understands attacking structures.

1. Maranta (with Hodges to move to fullback in the oppositions 20 every now and then)
2. Vidot
3. Reed
4. Hodges
5. Copley
6. Hoffman
7. Hunt
8. Kennedy
9. McCullough
10. Parker
11. Glenn
12. Thaiday
13. Gillett

14. Strasser
15. Hannant
16. McGuire
17. Oates

Strasser to come on for 20-25 minutes. Hoffman to centre, Reed to the bench or used in the forwards..

I wouldn't mind if that side was given a shot. I don't see it happening, though.

This is wishful thinking...

1. Barba
2. Vidot
3. Copley
4. Hodges
5. Hoffman
6. Kahu/Nikorima/Paia'Aua
7. Hunt
8. McGuire
9. McCullough
10. Hannant
11. Thaiday
12. Gillett
13. Parker

14. Glenn
15. Oates
16. Hala
17. Wallace/Kennedy/Molo

Either Nikorima or someone else mentioned Granville maybe at 6, his defence, kicking and running game playing at 9 is pretty good.

I am not sure wholesale changes to the team fixes anything. We need Barba to find some form for starters. Get some depth in attack and we need to use our forwards better. I'd love a better 6 but I don't think we are getting it.

It's mind boggling that people would still put Hoffman at the back...

I agree with Beads though, the team is (apart from the Eels game) pretty tight defensively, and wholesale changes might jeopardise that.

At this point, Hoffman can only go to the 3/4 line, possibly for Reed, and someone else at 5/8, ANYONE!

1- Barba (needs someone with a clue at 5/8, is suffering the most from the ball hog)
2- Hoffman
3- Hodges
4- Copley (despite Reed playing his best game of the season)
5- Vidot
6- My grandma
7- Hunt
8- McGuire
9- Macca
10- Hannant
11- Gillett
12- Thaiday
13- Parker

14- Glenn
15- Kennedy
16- Oates
17- Wallace/Hala

My wishful thinking:

6- Barba
7- Hunt
8- McGuire
9- Macca
10- Hannant
11- Gillett
12- Thaiday
13- Parker

14- Glenn
15- Kennedy
16- Oates
17- Wallace

A game plan where Barba isn't a sitting duck, and where the forwards pass the ball like they used to do so well.

This makes too much sense.
