Round 8 - Broncos vs Titans - Post Match Discussion

Griffin's record as Broncos coach, 27-8

Griffin > Bennett (and not just because of his win/loss record)

It seems like we just flex our muscles for a half then shut up shop.

As of tonight Griffin has also won the same amount of games as Henjak did (with 16 less losses).

Once again our momentum in attack slows when Macca goes off but far more importantly the opposition starts getting easy metres through the middle and our dominance of possession stops wheb he is subbed. No disrespect to Hunt but when we are cruising I hate them taking Macca off he is becoming increasingly important to the way we play with and without the ball.

That was an easy win and was one of the most enjoyable nights at the footy I've had. We closed ourselves down after halftime but I was expecting as we already had the game in the bag. The Titans first half was literally **** but they put up a fight after halftime and made a game out of it.

Wonder what the bloggers on the Titans forum have got to say after bragging about gunning us down, putting on 30 etc etc. Good win and let's keep the run going.

Titans were rubbish for 50 minutes but managed to turn it around. And despite those dodgy try calls, Broncos were the better team and wouldn't have changed the result.

Which dodgy try calls? You mean the 2 they disallowed to the Broncos for dubious forward passes? yes, should've been 34-6 or so

I didn't think that tap on from Norman was forward.

I'm still not quite sure why that Luke Douglas try wasn't awarded*. It looked like a pass to me, so the Video ref shouldn't be ruling on it.

*I may or may not own Luke Douglas in my fantasy team

Just saw this, I feel sorry for them if they think their team is even any good 'on paper'.

I dont get why we look so good on paper but so S*** in the game. Im extremely fustrated.

LOL. When they were looking at it I said the same thing to Aeetee...that if the video ref decides Bird "passed" it, then he can't rule whether it went forward.

Common sense prevailed.

Hadley keep repeating the tap was forward so i guess it conviced me but since i live in NSW the game was edited. Did they show replays from the Hodges try? Because not a single replay on my screen was shown so i cant give my verdict.

I thought the Hodges call was fair but I thought the tap from Hoffman was forward. I got a surprise when they awarded it.
