Minimal rep this year, fine with me.

Hope there are no withdrawals to the teams. Both of those are pretty good line ups.

I'm tipping the indigenous all-stars to win comfortably

That is the official release, unbelievable. I mean come on!

Australian heritage? So...doesn't that mean they are indigenous? Or are we only counting the UK as 'Australian' heritage and viewing indigenous as some other race?

And Mbye - 'African Heritage'? So umm...not really sure which country it is...so let's just put down African, all the countries there are the same right?

I cannot believe this stupid NRL is so culturally insensitive. Arrive in the professional era you bunch of idiots.

So you're basically saying that the only way you can be classed as having Australian heritage is if you're a first generation Aboriginal? Get real lol, I wouldn't have a fucking clue where my ancestors came from, neither would my parents, or their parents, we're Australian.

Todd Balym is having a whinge at how few Broncos there are and how many Titans are playing. I'll have to remember to bring it up to him during Origin when half of our players are out when we are playing against a full strength Warriors team like every year.

I'd also like to point out that the Titans players were all bought last year, except Ryan James. I guess that's what happens when you sign a bunch of rep quality players.

Fantastic to see minimal broncos in this eye sore of an event. Hopefully Benny pulls Thaiday out at the last minute.
We keep churning out all star wingers too

I love segregation in the name of equality.

scrap this lame concept already

Nice way to miss the point once again.

You have a point. The AFL celebrated Majak Daw as "the first sudanese" to play AFL, they recognized his proper heritage, not his continental, unlike the NRL.

When you think about how the NRL is viewed by other codes, and then they come out with stuff like this, you tend to think the other codes have a pretty accurate opinion of us.

I mean, you only have to go on to Wikipedia to find out he is of Gambian descent. It is just so unprofessional.

Hate this game, can't cheer for either team.

Let's celebrate diversity by segregation

Not sure what you mean by once again, I rarely interact with you.

I misread the post, but I still disagree with the first half of it. Would you feel more comfortable if the Indigenous All-Stars were labelled Indigenous-Australian All-Stars? Or perhaps they should've put (Australian Heritage) next to every Indigenous players name, just to remind everyone that Indigenous people are from Australia..

The "African Heritage" part is just laziness on their behalf though, do some research peeps.
