Watching the Raiders/Storm game yesterday I was once again dumbfounded by just how many boneheaded plays, dropped balls and general cluelessness as to where the sideline is Blake Ferguson produces week in week out.

Fair dinkum is there a worse winger in the NRL than this clown?

Steve Michaels.

Blake Ferguson = 75% Rocks, 25% Diamonds
Steve Michaels = 110% Rocks

At least Steve Michaels doesn't carry on like a douche thinking he's anything more than he is. The way Ferguson carries on you'd think he was Chicka not Blake!

He started the comp pretty well, but yeah... Grey matter seems to be lacking in his otherwise huge head.

Woops. lol.
I really don't think Ferguson's the worst, but in all honesty I haven't seen him play many games this year. He was good at Cronulla; I think at least part of his form this year has to be attributed to the team's performance. As to who is the worst, that's tough to say. There are that many talented young outside backs on every club's roster that wing is a position where you can't really hide. If you're no good, you don't stick around long enough to build a reputation as the Worst.

I rate ferguson. The guy can score tries no-one else can, and even creates alot of them himself. Very prone to brain explosions, but thats the risk with players like that. He certainly has scored some of the most freakish winger tries in recent history.

He is far from the best, but there are plenty of other wingers are worse than him

Id take ferguson over many of the wingers in the nrl. he is easily the best finisher in the game imo, and can create some tries for his inside man (especially from bombs). just needs to iron out a few kinks.

Agree with Qlder. Think ferguson is a work in progress. Once he learns when the big play is on and when (and how) to play safe he'll be magic

The same calls were made about Manu Vatuvei early in his career too.

I think Ferguson is actually hampered by Joel Thompson. He has no idea how to position his winger, or when to pass. Puts a lot of pressure on Fergo given how abysmal Canberra have been for most of this year.

In Ferguson's defence, if he doesn't turn over the ball, another Raider will. At least if he is the one doing it he has a chance of scoring if it succeeds, which is more than you can say for all the other Raiders bar Dugan.

Thompson is a great player, but he belongs in the backrow.

Beau Ryan is terrible.

At least with Ferguson you can see he has potential to be amazing. It's unfortunate he's a moron.

Beau Ryan has no potential to be amazing.

I rate Fergurson, I think in a few years time he could easily be in rep teams.

As for the worst hard to say because as Dukey says if you're a crap winger you don't stick around, way too much pressure in that position.
