Sensational news. As BP said, I love when we re-sign players, great to build a team from juniors as opposed to recruiting from elsewhere.
Be interesting to see if Hoffman's signature has any ramifications for Beale/Gagai (I'm not sure what their contract status is..). In particular Gagai, he's such a good runner of the ball - love to see him get a crack at starting fullback but it will be pretty hard for him with Hoffman and Beale ahead of him, rightfully, in the pecking order.
Plus McGuire's finish to the season was incredible. Didn't realise he had such endurance, looking forward to seeing what he can do next year.

Hoffman expressed a desire to have a crack at the 6. Interesting. If he can cut it it solves the Beale dilemma.

Both Hoffman and Beale expressed interest in playing in the 6. I think it has more to do with wanting to follow in Lockyers footsteps rather than actually being able to pull it off. There is a romance about the number 6 after Lockyer.
