His form this year has been off the charts... he's killing it and I've never seen him play so good. The only negative I see from all this --> market value... we're going to need some room for Sam, Gillett's imminent increase etc.

I second that, I always thought he was an alright forward- nothing to write home about but later stages of last year and this year he has definitely made me eat my words.

I would think because the Dally's are individual awards

Whether or not the team you represent is paying the players too much shouldn't matter

It's harder for Melbourne players to get it anyway because they're competing for points with other great players in their team.

I've been saying since 5 weeks ago that Thaiday is the best player in the competition how he's playing this year.
I know it's usually the fancy players that get that recognition but god damn Thaiday has been absolutely awesome, getting ridiculous statistics, making line breaks, setting up tries, huge defensive displays, chiming in backline plays, MOM in Australia game, I wouldn't trade him for anyone, on top of all that he's a Broncos junior and loves the club :D

I've always been a fan but he's never been in the unbelievable form he is in this year, everyone fan in the competition rates Thaiday. He's also a very clean player, not a grub.
