Ok, so what are we doing for '22? Who are you bringing in from players available? Who are you letting go? Who are you re-signing and how much for?

I think most of us feel this season is a bit of a write off and if it is , so be it. If it isn't, well that would be a wonderful and very welcome surprise.

The Broncs (in theory) will finally be rid of a lot of horrible contracts for 2022 and some decent players should be available.

So, what are you doing if you are Broncos management for 2022? What does our team / squad look like for 2022?

Let's give our incompetent management and incoming CEO a hand by doing some of their work for them.

FFS, lets worry about 2021 before fucking worrying about 2022.

Sure, the coach can worry about this year, the management side SHOULD be worrying about '22 and beyond. Besides, I am genuinely interested in what teams supporters can come up with, if you don't like it, you are welcome to leave this thread and have no part in it.

That’s why the club is in the mess it’s in now, because we don’t plan ahead!

We should absolutely be worried about next year, elite clubs plans extend all the way up until the end of the decade.

BS ...

besides i guarantee you they fucking do plan ahead

B Smith - no.1 priority - go hard for him......................very hard.

if you're going to talk about mass signings ... please at least stop talking about bring back the old Broncos culture, because the two aren't compatible.

maybe you can talk about brining in the Roosters culture ... but that would include many additional years at 2020 level

I don’t care about old broncos culture. Seibold already killed that legacy I care about building a winning culture. Kev and the old boys are enough bronco culture.

Also, are 4 signings really mass signings?

Well...

Bennett in, Bennett gone
Seibold in on an unrestricted contract, Seibold gone
One board member says contract has performance clause, other board member says opposite
Walters in, no press conference arranged
White in, White gone, White staying a little longer, White gone
McGuire extended, McGuire gone
Player options handed out to all and sundry
Joffa extended, Joffa gone
Kahu released, Kahu returned on bigger contract, Kahu's rehab covered, Kahu gone
Macca in, Macca released, Macca needed, Macca not able to return, Macca in, $200k paid, Macca gone
Fifita staying, Fifita gone, Fifita staying, 20 meetings later, Fifita gone
Bird takes player option, Bird gone AND we pay for him
KNik in, KNik not wanted, KNik gone, KNik now wanted but KNik gone
Su'A wanted and a building block of the future, Su'A gone
Current and former rep players out, has-beens and never-weres in and no money leftover
and so on

Defending the club's planning ahead might be a bit harder than you think.

It's a bit early, I think our plans will be heavily dependent on 2021 results, if we can show solid improvement we can hope to attract better players and keep the good ones we have, if we have another spoon year we are probably fucked.

@Sproj i really used to enjoy reading your posts, now on the other hand, i place you somewhere below a LU poster

I used to enjoy reading your replies, they weren't full of pointless insults and had useful points in them.

FFS, lets worry about 2021 before fucking worrying about 2022.
We have spent literally all offseason worrying about 2021 already. Most of us couldn't be more worried right now.

Botching the Bellamy deal, then botching the Bennett saga, then botching the Seibold deal, and it looks like we're about to botch the Bellamy deal once again too. I mean, FMD, if so many people are convinced that Melbourne are about to have the ass fall out of the place once Bellamy goes, how does it not make sense for us to drive a literal dump truck full of cash to his house and unload it, and just ask him how many more we should send before he's ready to sign?

Let's not forget the monumental own goals like the Sam Walker deal, of which @1910 has a very 'close to source' account of just how monumentally the Broncos managed to **** up absolutely basic things like locking down a teenager at a club where his Father and two of his Uncle's also played.
