The Storm signed Taumata did they? I didnt see that, interesting! Maybe 5/8th for next year?

Where did you get that list anyway? eusa_think

Maybe Tomato means Inglis can play in the centres next year? I wish it was this kids last chance but highly doubtful.

Bulldogs have recruited well.

LOL at the Eels.

Raiders, geez! That is almost as bad as the Bulldogs over the last couple of years, a lot of good talent gone.

Is it just me, or is every team looking pretty much worse off aside from the Bulldogs alone? Have to LOL at Parra, though!

Also quite concerned at how damaging a Titans team will be if they have the likes of William Zillman running off Prince and Campbell. Sheesh!

The Dragons will potentially have a very, very good pack. Also I like the way the Warriors are shaping up. I really hope we don't rue letting Moon and Kemp go too much (to say nothing of Ennis).

Sharks have also lost Kimmorley - not on the above list. They've recruited well, but De Gois will be a big loss IMO.

EELS for the Wooden spoon place your bets people.

Yeah they either haven't watched any footy this year or are super confident there youngsters will step up.

Yeah, but IMO Corey Hughes is the type of player that will suit the Sharks style of play a little bit more.

Sharks have definitely recruited well. Their forward pack is pretty much one of the best in the best, if not the best. Galen, Tupou, Bird, Douglas, Ross (who I admit, has been in good form of late). Then throw in Barrett and Seymour in the halves. (I think a Barrett style player is exactly what they need to spark some attack into their team).

However, their outside backs are still weak.[/quote:hvugbjh7]

Their outside backs are far from weak! But they are very, very slow [icon_lol1.

you forgot to add Folau to the storm loss section and Setu to the Dragons loss section [icon_razz1

IMO watch the Bulldogs crumble. They will just scrape the 8 IMO. Buying a team doesn't work, unless you are Storm 99.

I'm just sad we lost Kemp. He can be just so brilliant.

The other's - meh.

Knights are a smokey for the 4 next year. A lot of kids have improved a long way for them this year and De Gois is almost as good a replacement as you can get for Buderus, if they keep Simpson and Cross on the field (like they haven't been able to this year) with the kids likely to keep improving. Patterson, Tafua, Vuna, Uate, Mullen, Dureau, Sau and I could go on, also they have the games best player this year who deserves to win the Dally M in Kurt Gidley.

Agree MB. In fact the Kinghts are playing quite well the latter half of this season. Maybe a surprise package....or maybe, minus Buderus, not so much?

Add Boyd to our lost list and gain for the Dragons. Official.

Buderus is a massive loss for the knights! De gois is good but losing buderis i think will take the knights a few seasons to recover, if only for his leadership!

Absolutely, I am Bedsy's biggest fan on this forum but I think De Gois though not as good is a pretty like for like swap. He has a good work rate like him, picks and chooses well when to run and has a pretty creative passing game. I think they won't have to adjust the plan to much which is always good plus with Mullen and Dureau improving all the time along with Hilder (who was crap last year but has really found a role and home in Newcastle) they have other players stepping up to ease pressure off the man jumping into Buderus' very large shoes. I really rate De Gois though and think the Sharks will be worse off by a long way with Hughes at 9. Plus they have Gidley the guy was best on ground the few weeks he played 9 while Bedsy was out, they could always move Gidley there and play Uate at fullback if they needed to.
