For gods sake book your tickets for round 6 really really early. I was there on friday night and if it's anything to go by then the atmosphere in a few weeks time when we travel down is going to be electric. I think it will rival SoO atmosphere to be honest. They are an unbelievably loud crowd and absolutely put our fans to shame.

yeah that's what someone else said, the roof is curved to keep the sound in rather than have it open so the sound disappears like at QEII/ANZ Stadium

Yeah I'd say it's definitely related to the staium design. The sound definitely locks inside the venue.

No I think the fans have a genuine passion for the team. They've done a good job that club in gathering support. And yes there are a number of horrible American style gimmicks at the game which everyone will experience in a few weeks but the fans there really love their football team and they show it.

Suncorp should really be renamed the library. It's fair dinkum embarrassing in there sometimes. Some bastard glanced back at me the other day for making some noise. Does that make sense?

Yeah, I got told off for being too loud at the Titans-Broncos game last year which we won in Golden Point. Then the arsehole wanted to shake my hand after we won.

Suncorp's atmosphere is absolutely terrible for Broncos matches. Love it during the A-league season, though.

It's only natural that the smaller stadiums will have the better atmosphere.

Money speaks though and the more bums on seats the more the cash is raked in.Suncorp is a beautiful stadium Put the Titans playing Penrith at Suncorp and you would have less atmosphere than that at a Broncs game at Suncorp.Reason being we love our team and our support and love is genuine.They cant possibly have that in their fan base thus far. Diehard that was my opinion and not a biased one like yours I'm afraid.

Took a mate and the 2 boys and the mate follows neither Broncos or Titans or Cows and he said whilst the atmosphere was superb, the crowd was in the majority not there for the football but more to socialise...........and as for the "That's a great Try.....Boom....That's a great Try...Warcry.....That's a Great Try.....Boom" and let's all sing the ABC Paving song before the game they need to cut that crap out ASAP.

Don't get me wrong fabulous stadium and will be even better when it is finished properly but actually made me appreciate the fans around me at Scumcorp that actually cheer and yell at the right times in the game about the game. Remember my opinion only [icon_wink

Suncorps atmosphere is average at best most of the time unless its origin or a QLD roar game.
Now I try not to let swear words drop if there are kids around, but it doesn't seem to matter cause I get dirty looks no matter what I shout. Suncorp is turning more and more into a freakin library.

I'm sure you all can take a pretty accurate guess on my opinions on this topic. I'll wait until after Round 6.

But one thing is for sure, we all need to put in more of an effort at games with the atmosphere. It's something rugby league is poor at, especially in Queensland.
