Did they have an awesome season or what. Say what you want about them going out tonight, and blowing a lead they should have won by, but they've had a fantastic season.

Proved a lot of people (myself included) wrong.

Seems like a few have been waiting all season to finally use that lol at Souths line, guess tonight is their chance, although I'm not sure why... making it to the preliminary final is nothing to be scoffed at. Yeah , I couldn't care less whether it was directed at me or not. With the Broncos out, nothing makes me happier than to see this stain of a club, which should have never be brought back, bungle out of contention for a premiership.

They're certainly fairing a lot better than many other teams, both on and off the field. Seems like they've got a really strong organisation happening there, and are starting the see the benefits of years of hard work.

Another great season under Madge. I have seen more wins in the last 2 years than probably since I started going to games in 2004. Hopefully, next year we will get there and finish this drought.

Unlike what most of their supporters claim, they've been the opposite of the pride of the league. On the contrary, they've been the joke of the league for most of the last 42 years.

If the Sharks are kicked out of the NRL, but are brought back a year later because of how loud people whinge, and happen to do well in the comp 10 years later, would that make it common sense? Let's be serious please.

Great game from Manly, awesome trust and confidence to come back so strong from 14nil down.

There is not a team in the league I enjoy seeing get beaten more than Souths, but I can admit they had a great season and are currently one of the benchmark teams.

Haha have to laugh at that first bit considering what's happening this year but agree with the general sentiments about Souths are gone, how annoying would Crowe have been if they'd won the thing.

I dunno, choking when it matters is a pretty big lol point. Souths had the game in the palm of their hand and couldn't go on with it. South Sydney Choketohs. Now if only they could drop that pride of the league thing.
