Welp, dead rubber, do we blood some guys, or stick loyal?

Scott broken cheekbone, Parker broken eye socket, Cronk broken arm, Tate possible ACL, Josh Papalii bad ankle sprain. I'm gonna go ahead and rule all 5 of them out of game 3.

1. Billy Slater
2. Darius Boyd
3. Greg Inglis
4. Justin Hodges
5. Dale Copley
6. Johnathan Thurston
7. Daly Cherry-Evans
8. Josh McGuire
9. Cameron Smith
10. Nate Myles
11. Aidan Guerra
12. Matt Gillett
13. Sam Thaiday

14. Anthony Milford
15. Chris McQueen
16. Ben Te'o
17. Dave Taylor

I could see something like this, although I wouldn't mind dumping Te'o for giving someone else a chance, considering he's not going to be here next year, a wasted spot in reality.

I think the core of the team should stay, let the guys avenge the loss - we've lost by 4, and 2, both games with less than 17 men and game II with a massive leg up to the Blues from the refs. We obviously need to replace injured players though.

Lack of large props is a concern. I rated Lillyman's efforts tonight, he had some impact but I'm confused why he didn't get more minutes. We basically played most of the game without a prop on the paddock, and as a result really struggled at times to gain much ground. I'd love to see McGuire in, but he needs to keep his head and not let the niggle unsettle him. He's been prone to it in the past, and Game III will be fucking FULL of it, with the Blues having won the series already. We need players who can keep their heads.

I don't know about Copley, I rate him, but I'd probably prefer someone who's been in the QLD system already - has he been?

IMO it would be harsh to drop big Dave, yeah he had a brain snap but I thought he was playing it safe for most of the game. Keep him, I have faith he'll get better.

****, I dunno. Faith in Mal to deliver. We won't let them sweep the series with 2 games in Brisbane.

13. Parker - he will be right by game 3

14. Lillyman
15. Taylor
16. Milford
17. Lawrence

gillett and McQueen can **** off. Over their uselessness. Teo is leaving so bye bye to him. It's time we took advantage of inglis and put him where he belongs

Dave Taylor still in 2 different team lists....What is this, even.

The team won't change much, lets not kid ourselves.

Taylor was fine. The crappy pass was just as much McQueens fault

Blood some youngsters, start planning for the future. That's what QLD should do.

I think that 'catch and pass' Taylor attempted was the turning point in the match. Mal would have given him explicit instructions not to do that sort of thing.

He won't be there come origin 3

Not a fan, but best the Maroons can do with players missing.

I think Parker will be back Pete, he takes good care of himself and is always back ahead of schedule.

Will make up for Scott if he's ruled out.

I've heard that Cronk could be back for Game 3. It was just a rumor, though.

Gagai over Copley or Vidot? It's a lottery, any of those 3 could come in and have a blinder or play awful. What's the thought process behind having Te'o starting over Gillett? I suppose he's a safer option, less likely to make mistakes.

Gagai over Copley or Vidot?

Yes.

Vidot chose to represent Samoa so he cannot play for the Maroons.

Not a whole lot between Gagai and Copley. I just rate Dane as the better talent and believe he's more prepared than Copley at this stage.

What's the thought process behind having Te'o starting over Gillett?

Better hole runner, stronger defender.

Gillett will be better in the latter stages where his foot-work can come into play.
