Re: Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

I do have some issues with this team:

1. I don't know what Glenn or Marsh have done wrong to be dropped
2. After the way Taylor played against the Tigers, i don't think he deserves his place
3. who is Dale Copley; what position does he play; is he any good;

Re: Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

What exactly did PJ Marsh do wrong to warrant getting dropped? He has been in excellent form.

Unless he is under an injury cloud this is an interesting decision.

Re: Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

I don't know how reliable the source is but Marsh is expected to play 5/8 or 7 depending if Lockyer or Wallace back up.

If they both do they wont play the 80 mins and Marsh will start on the bench as back up

Re: Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

I saw the team on another forum and it had Glenn and Marsh in and Wapau and Taylor out.
Dale Copley is a center who plays for our under 20's and I heard he is our most promising prospect in the backs in our U20s team.

Re: Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

I'll be at this game! Woooooooooowoooooooooo!

Re: Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

Good to see Andrew Mccullough start too.

Re: Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

Would love to see Ben Hunt get a start if Wally doesn't back up. Rather Macca not start but come off the bench as that is where he has had the most impact this season IMO.

Re: Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

Haven't won in Melbourne since 2003. Won't happen this year either.

Re: Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

Not with that attitude - with Wayne gone, Melbourne no longer has the wood on us (I'd sooo love that to be true!!!)

Re: Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

The result of this game so depends on the result tonight IMO. A Qld win = Broncos loss and vice versa.

Re: Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

Looks like Brisbane will lose then...

Re: Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

Yeah. I'd say Brisbane are in for a massive flogging based on that theory.

Re: Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

Haven't seen many U20's games this season. How's Copley been going? Can't see Hodges backing up.

Re: Storm Vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread

I doubt Copley will get a game though.

Glenn would be first choice to replace Hodges in the backline and Yow Yeh would second choice after that.
