Speaking of Te Maire, seems a really good pick up purely because of how his appreciation for his job will rub off on the prima donnas in the squad:

I think glen and milf were the only ones left…?

His mindset is quite compelling. He's saying if/when he gets to first grade he'll make damn sure he's never caught ball watching or as they say 'let the game go by him'. He's fully determined to make a difference to the team if/when he gets the nod. If all things go well for him , he's a ready made candidate to study under and then replace Reynolds.

Would love to see him win a GF with us.

According to 9 News (Mole), the Adam Reynolds 'soreness' is worse than that, he has a hamstring strain that's been bothering him for weeks and he's in massive doubt for Round 1.

great news ... that means he has no soreness and is a guaranteed starter for round 1

FMD this is ordinary

Have no idea how both of them aren't serving 2-3 week bans.

NRL harp on about protecting playmakers, such that a split second late hit is an automatic 1 week ban... but take a bloke's legs out, whilst he's unprotected, and we might just slightly hit your back pocket with a fine.

Both of those were disgusting, but you watch Jensen get done for the tackle feldt hurt himself in (it was feldt trying to spin Jensen off his torso that made him fall on his leg). If we are only going to penalise when someone is hurt we will; 1. Turn into soccer with people feigning injury, 2. Teams who play for the penalty will gain advantage (parra, penrith, Canberra, some roosters are all big offenders) and 3. Teams who don't will get fucked over (in the trial, kobe was tackled in a tackle that if he grabbed the back of his neck and feigned injury, we would have got a penalty, but instead, he is not a soft **** and played on)

1. Turn into soccer with people feigning injury,
- Players already do this... I would say Feldt did it last night knowing the bunker was there (why is the bunker there for trial matches anyway?) and after seeing what happened to Dunster (to now know it's a penalty)... only to be up and about taking hit ups at the next opportunity

2. Teams who play for the penalty will gain advantage (parra, penrith, Canberra, some roosters are all big offenders) and
- Teams already do this... Penrith are one of the worst at it... and who can forget Fergo last year feigning injury only to jump to his feet and start trying to pick fights after the penalty was awarded

3. Teams who don't will get fucked over (in the trial, kobe was tackled in a tackle that if he grabbed the back of his neck and feigned injury, we would have got a penalty, but instead, he is not a soft **** and played on)
- We already do get fucked over... Marsters was throwing hay makers last week that could've easily been a lie down, someone copped a high shot early in the game last night for nothing, etc. We rarely lie down for penalties ... we haven't realised that the NRL is a corrupt league where whoever cheats the most wins.

I'm adding Covid to the list, but not putting a recovery estimate because it's open ended.

Edit: I've added players recovered to the list. Some are rumoured.

What the hell has happened to delouise hoeter? Wasn't on the team list for Wynnum either

I'd give Gamble an opportunity at 6 and start Paix at 9, Walters to bench as a utility, Cobbo at 1.
Niu and Turpin to reserve grade.
