Why isn't this guy in the top 17? When the Broncos was playing well, Setu was caving up on the edges.
Sure, sometimes he runs out of the line and miss but when does hit, watch out!

Oh? I thought he went back to QLD cup after an injury a couple of months back.

Yep he has been playing Q Cup for Easts. Still trains with the Broncs all week though. Like you I am baffled as to why he wasn't reinstated in the NRL team after his injury. I am guessing the lack of game time in the top grade is a big part of the reason he is moving on next year.

I've said it before that I believe he was one of the main reasons we turned our season around. His form at 10 was unbelievable.

FB, don't think game time had much to do with it. Think he would have gone on a mission no matter what. Myself and many others rate him as close to the best young forward in QLD. He could have got walk up starts at near any club.

I know he would have gone on his mission eventually - but I truly believe he would have delayed it had he pretty much cemented a first grade spot. Given how much he's been playing for Easts, I've had quite a number of chats with him over the past couple of months.

Aye, I honestly can't understand how Setu hasn't made his way back into first grade.

It's not like our props are playing the house down. We even shifted Te'o into the number 10 jersey, why not just give Setu a run?

You're right, he should totally play Lagi Setu at halfback, but he loves Wallace too much. Agenda agenda agenda.

Sorry Ning, my first post didn't include he has a new injury, I was basically rambling/ranting that he hadn't been picked again since his earlier injury but had been playing Q Cup since then. My bad for not elaborating, but I thought as someone else had already mentioned the broken jaw I didn't need to. However have just re-read my original post and it wasn't clear. Mah bad
