The Tigers look for new home with Leagues Club set for demolishion

The Tigers are on the lookout for a new den, with Balmain Leagues Club on the verge of being demolished to make way for a new development that includes an underground train station.

The State Government wants to take possession of the three-acre Victoria Rd site on April 1 to begin construction of Rozelle Station on its proposed CBD Metrolink.

Ok so its not Major news but any league news at the moment is worth a look. Hopefully with a new club ect once its finished the Tigers will stay afloat

I find it interesting that a leagues club which has been there for donkeys can just be demonlished. Poor form. What about the history?
