your thoughts??

Personally he was my favourite Broncos player so i am absolutely over the moon! Best thing to happen this year

My thoughts;

I love TC, always have. However whether he plays great or crap, there is a major drama with even needing to bring back a retired player. Major drama.

If nothing else he gives us a forwards leader and extra experience.

It will be good to see him play again.. As dukey says he will be the forward leader the club needs at the moment.. As Hammo says we are in massive trouble if we are calling him to help us..

I got excited when I heard this news haha. Hopefully his return will bring some spark to our game and help a lot with our poor defence.

Also agree with this. But i guess if he is fit and willing then its just like recruiting a player from somewhere else yes?? I mean, plenty of sports stars come out of retirement to play their respective games again.

Its the little edge that i think will put our season back on track

I agree, we have problems, but AT LEAST those in charge are saying "ok we've got problems, what can we do to fix them?". It reeks of desperation, but we're kind of in a desperate situation here.

At the very least, his attitude and toughness will hopefully rub off on some of the other forwards. I can't really see a downside unless they continue to play him if he's not showing form.

I'd prefer him to be back as defensive coach, rather than Peter "I've coached union for the last 5 years" Ryan.

I think both Setu and Te'o should take the opportunity to learn from Tunza up close, one of them really needs to step into the hole that he left when he retired (or when he retires again)

I have a feeling that Te'o will develop into our new Tonie Carrol. (obviously not as good but you know what I mean)

I actually thought Setu would when we signed him but he hasn't lived up to that and hasn't really performed at the Broncos YET

Im so excited for Tunza to come back, and the younger guys will really benefiet from him being back.
Do you think they will send DT to the Bunnies to free up some dosh for him now?

Foordy; admittedly I haven't seen the last 2 rounds, but I thought Setu showed some real potential, especially in his defensive game. I guess by reading what people have been saying he hasn't shown what I was seeing.

His defensive game is the worst thing about him IMO. Sure he can put on a fantastic hit but he rushes out of the line and will go for a big hit and miss, this happened against the sharks, the ended up scoring because of him and he got pulled off right away for it by Henjak. His defense is also the reason he got dropped at the start of the year. He has pretty bad hands too.

Yeah you missed him rush out of the line against the Sharks to put on a big hit, fall over, look like a dick, and watch his opposite number run over and score a soft try.

Setu was then hooked by Henjak.
