Just vote on one, keep the talk in the other thread please.

It was so hard for me to vote on this, and I think if it was anyone else but Hunt I would have no problems making my mind up. Voted Sack them, tarnished our clubs image.

By the way Tee, that should be "to" not "too" [icon_wink Sorry to be a grammar nazi [icon_lol1.

Eat me.... I was dramatizing...toooooo

I keep chopping and changing my mind. I suppose I subscribe to "innocent until proven guilty"...if there is undeniable facts that they did wrong by the woman though my vote would change to sack them.

LOL! Too sack is their problem, or at least, thinking too much with their sacks! And I'm still sitting on the fence. Let's wait until the investigation is finished and all facts are on the table.

At the moment the only person who will be able to confidently jump to conclusions is Chewbecca Wilson.

The King of hearsay, speculation and passing judgment sure changes his tune when the Broncos are involved!!

BTW, the only way the Broncos would sack these guys would be with assurance from the NRL that they would be deregistered for at least 12 months as well. Ensuring they wouldn't play against the Broncos next year.

There's so much water that's going to flow under the bridge before anything is done:

- Police investigation outcomes
- Club's internal investigations and discussions with the players
- Briefings and Discussions with sponsors about the impacts this has on their support
- Analysis of financial position retaining players vs cutting them
- Discussions with NRL about ongoing punishment for the players if they were to be sacked
- Legal enquiries as to the legitimacy of sacking them, PLUS the likelihood or defence for former players who were sacked then starting a case against them based on unfair dismissal (unlikely, but you'd have to think Costigan and Seymour might feel a bit hard done by)
- Legal enquiries as to the restrictions they could impose on these players should they be retained (Fines, bannings from activities and places etc)

None of this will happen by Saturday! And none of this will happen by October when the season is done. This will be addressed and dealt with during the offseason.

LOL! Nick D'Arcy case was cut and dried. Just cos he's your mate doesn't make him less of a cocksmoker. Copped what he deserved.

I agree he got what he deserved. Just that over the years you have been the first to lay the boot in.. its funny in this situation your suddenly the voice of reason [icon_wink

When I talk from the club's perspective yes. I've posted my personal thoughts in the league talk thread now if you're interested ;-)

If all is true I would doubt Bennett would want Boyd at the Dragons. If the three players named are charged they should be banned from the NRL for at least next season.

Are the Dragons going to tear Boyd's contract up?

Why would they? He is not with the Dragons when the incident happened.

If this was Setu involved, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be playing for us next season!

It is sexual assault not stealing candy off a baby.

Unfortunately, if Bruno isn't a hypocrite, they will be sacked, and i have no problem with that.

Option 3.

Sackings can perhaps wait until the club recieves the right information from the authorities, which I hope comes as soon as possible.

In the mean time, suspending them indefinately and fining them can serve as punishment for putting the reputation of the club and all involved at risk - which is what many are unhappy about - and to serve as a warning to the remainder of the playing group that as high-profile, highly paid public figures, they have a responsibility to their teammates and their club not to put themselves in a compromising situation - especially during a God damned finals campaign.
