Touch Judges

What do they do?

I never see them rule on anything. Maybe if there's a fight or something, they'll come in and have a word to the ref.

They hardly ever flag forward passes or offsides. If there's a try in the corner, it almost always goes to the video ref rather than taking the touch judge's word.

Seem pretty useless to me.

I can't wait for the new technology next year that detects forward passes almost instantly.

Maybe we can piss off touch judges.

They are useless. Annoys the hell out of me to see then strutting up and down the sidelines doing nothing.

Agreed. My pet hat is when they miss the grubby stuff in tackles that you can clearly see from the stands. The worst is when the ref penalises your team for something grubby in a tackle yet it was minor compared to the earlier ones that were clearly missed.
