Can't wait for our first real taste of footy of the year and getting a sneak peak into what teams have in store for us.

Interesting Tigers outfit

It appears one team is their first grade squad, while the other is the NSW Cup side. Interesting to see the likes of Murdoch-Masila, Buchanan, Seumanufagai in the NSW Cup side while some other players have been given promotions.

Out of the squad they've named for Penrith I can see it looking like...

1. James Tedesco
2. David Nofoaluma
3. Keith Leilua
4. Chris Lawrence
5. Markia Koroibete
6. Braith Anasta
7. Blake Austin
8. Aaron Woods
9. Robbie Farah
10. Martin Taupau
11. Dene Halatau
12. Cory Paterson
13. Adam Blair

14. Asipeli Fine
15. James Gavet
16. Mitchell Moses
17. Kurtis Rowe
18. Curtis Sironen
19. Bodene Thompson

Team lists have been updated.

Lots of new faces, will be very interesting to read some reports around the ground.

Wish our club would do that for the upcoming trials!

ROFL! That stream is like something out of 1996.

10/10 for the idea, 0/10 for the execution.

Good news for Spwn

The Raiders defeated the Storm by 20-12

The Storm had a good stream for the Raiders trial. A lot of players missing from both sides but the win continues a good few years of the Raiders regularly beating the Storm in Melbourne.

Best part of the win (besides no injuries) was the form of the 3 halves used, Cornish, Wighton and Ahearn all played great and when Milf moves on and Campo retires could be a very potent spine for years to come, just need a hooker.

Titans beat the Warriors in their trial.

FULLTIME SCORE: Titans run out 36-18 winners over the New Zealand Warriors at North Harbour Stadium.

GOLD COAST TITANS 36 (P Carter, B Tighe, A Kelly, M Blair, C Hazard, M Beddow, K Faifai Loa tries; K Faifai Loa 4 conversions) defeat the NZ WARRIORS 18.

Warriors vs Wigan is on Fox Sports 1 now for anyone that has foxtel.

Wigan 46-22 winners over Warriors.

I don't know what Shaun Wane said to his players at half time, but it worked. They absolutely blitzed Warriors in the second half after going into the break trailing by 6.

Warriors defense was soft all over the field and the outside backs weren't doing much in attack, which is a shame because I thought the 5/8 Chad Townsend had a good game.

He scored a try in the first half and set up a couple more. His kicking game was brilliant and he got the Warriors down the field, but the outside backs and the forwards just kept dropping the ball and coming up with the wrong options.

So far the Warriors are not off to a good start. They've been blitzed in both games.

Naw, he was rested for the 9's. I think the Warriors are focused on winning that comp more so than the trials. My wallet certainly hopes so.

Warriors vs Wigan highlights.

I wonder how long it will take for Souths to sign Joe Burgess. He scored 4 tries against the Warriors.
