FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK YYYYYYEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU BEAUTY BARCA!!!!!

BEST MORNING EVER! What a performance they were truly perfect for the final 80 minutes this morning.

cant believe how well they played. fucking amazing. we didnt worry about who we were playing, we did our usual thing, and now we reign supreme! cmon barrrrrrrcaaaaaaaaa!

Oh what a morning! Barcelona are the first side in Spanish history to complete the treble and to do it under the guise of a rookie coach is amazing!

The first 9 minutes were a concern and we gave Man U too much space in the middle and that let Ronaldo run and shoot at will luckily he didn't threaten too much except from that dipping free kick well saved by Valdes. From that point Barca ran the show and there wasn't a single Barca player that wasn't contributing positively which is why they are so tremendous, Man U had so few chances after the first goal and considering Bacra were playing open football this shows how dominant they were both in passing and in closing down space. Man U's midfield was swamped and the likes of Carrick, Anderson, Sung, Giggs and Rooney were very quiet and Ronaldo was fed off scraps and probably should have been deployed wide to take on Sylvinho down Man U's right side. All in all the far superior side won and the victory was a win for fans of football in its purest sense around the world.

My player ratings:

Man Utd:
Van Der Sar 7 - Had to pick the ball out of his net twice and might feel annoyed about the first time although it would have been tremendous to keep Eto'o's shot out, made some smart saves otherwise from Henry and Puyol and keep the scoreline tighter than it could have been.

Evra 6 - Not a bad game, Eto'o played down this side of the field and he was nowhere to be seen when he cut in for the goal but other than that he did a fair job with Eto'o not having a huge impact after his goal. Didn't do enough going forward but no one did out wide for Man U.

O'Shea 6 - Same as Evra he kept Henry fairly quiet although from the outset Barca played very centrally and used Henry and Eto'o mainly to stretch the Man U defenders wider. Did a decent job but nothing coming forward and could have been guilty for a goal if Henry finished better.

Vidic 4 - Probably the worst I have seen from he and Ferdinand in combination, for two guys usually so assured they were both lost at sea to often. They weren't committing to close down Messi and he ran riot because of it. Also guilty for the first goal.

Ferdinand 5 - Terrible night, never shut the play down like he can do so well coming off the defensive line and gave Messi way too much freedom on the ball.

Carrick 5 - Was very quiet in attack which is a surprise because he has become such a schemer for Man U this season, also didn't cope with the brilliant trio of Barca midfielders who ran all over him. He had no support but he was guilty for not supporting his teammates also.

Anderson 4 - Horrid night culminating in his substitution, never got involved and like Carrick was unsighted going forward. He like Carrick was guilty for the midfield being overrun.

Giggs 4 - Poor selection, he was too slow and didn't cope with the pace that Barca can offload the ball. His PFA award was clearly a joke if this was what it was built on. He is a legend but he is not a central midfield player on this stage and he was left wanting in defense and not good enough in the centre to aid attacks.

Rooney 6 - Mainly gets a 6 for his work ethic, I love how hard he works now and that he isn't the petulant turd he once was. Had no support from the players in midfield coming in behind him and often got the ball floated to him with no support and lost it as a consequence. Did a lot of good work tracking back but he is a class attacker and he didn't get the help he needed.

Park 5 - Like Rooney he worked hard but was less effective on the ball and it seems like Ronaldo doesn't have any faith in him because he seems to avoid passing to him. His flank was rarely used and considering the lack of pace both Puyol and Sylvinho have I can't fathom why Rooney and Park weren't fed more with decent support.

Ronaldo 5 - Another big game, another MIA for the great hype machine. First 9 minutes he was busy but was way too glory hungry and refused to pass the ball, resulting in some tame shots going wide. His thunderbolt freekick was good but too straight and after this he disappeared. Showed how petulant he is with his yellow card late on, he really is a bastard demonstrated it again with his selfish play and theatrics. He was a pretender tonight on the biggest stage where if there was doubt before there isn't now a new King has well and truly been crowned.

Subs:
Tevez 6 - Like Rooney he works bloody hard and he didn't get the service he needed but it didn't stop him trying to win the ball. Gave away a foul where Xavi then hit the post but it was a smart one to commit and I would be very surprise if Sir Alex lets him leave the club.

Scholes 3 - All he did was hack down Busquets with an atrocious tackle, lucky he stayed on the pitch. Did nothing with or without the ball otherwise.

Berbatov 4 - No service whatsoever in his little time on the pitch, could have done better with a header off a corner but that was his one moment of impact.

Sir Alex 3 - For such a smart tactician this was his worst night, they gave Barca too much space. Giggs and Park were poor selections and Ronaldo should have played wide to exploit the slower men out wide for Barca. His substitutions weren't effective and all they did was create a log jam of Man U attackers and even less midfielders to compete with the Barca midfield, at least one defender needed to be withdrawn for one of those attackers.

Barca
Valdes 7 - Did well early from the Ronaldo free kick also saved well low later on, rushed out well when needed but it was a reasonably quiet night considering the occasion. As usual he passed well on the ground and it is a feature of the system that Valdes is so competent when the ball is played back to him.

Sylvinho 7 - Did everything he was asked and only really lost Rooney once in 90 minutes when he got in behind him, which is a tremendous effort for the 35 year old lacking match practice. Would love Pep to convince him to hang around he is a valuable squad player.

Puyol 8 - Mammoth night from the captain, not a lot of pressure from Park which helped but he helped centrally and was superb going forward and was almost rewarded with a goal. Did well late on when Ronaldo finally drifted wider towards him.

Toure 8.5 - He could be a world class centre back if he wants to be, he is so composed on the ball and timed his challenges well, Pique, Busquets and Toure were brilliant in denying Ronaldo time and space. Also made a couple of good surges forward, very good contribution again from the midfield come defender.

Pique 8.5 - Superb like Toure, good in the attacking build up and good blocking crosses. Cut out a lot of dangerous crosses and through balls. Has developed into a class defender and will serve the club well for a long time to come. Like Toure he made life very tough for Ronaldo and that is a huge factor in this result.

Busquets 9 - Alot of what this guy does probably goes unnoticed but he will become a world class defensive midfielder, worked tirelessly and gave the Man U midfielders so little room to work in. Snuffed out every attacking raid that came through the centre and aided the two wide backs when required. Also produced real quality on the ball to help assist the two maestro's running the show just in front of him.

Xavi 10 - If he wasn't already my hero, he is now. What he did this morning was pure genius and he showed the world that he is easily the games best central midfielder and playmaker. He pulled the strings all night and was even stronger than usual on the ball, his cross for Messi's goal was perfection and he also tackled superbly. He was the MOTM in my opinion.

Iniesta 9.5 - Not far behind Xavi in the ratings and like Xavi he was pulling strings in every direction, some of the turns he makes on the ball to spin out of trouble are remarkable his balance is the best I have seen. He Xavi and Busquets swallowed Man U's midfield and made them look second rate, his dribbling forward at the defense is superb and his assist for Eto'o's goal was excellent.

Henry 7 - Clearly he wasn't 100% did well when used to pull the space in the middle open and he suits this passing game because he is so composed on the ball, missed his only clear chance but did very well to get it to the position he did. Did a good job but I was relieved when he got subbed because he clearly wasn't going to see the full 90 out.

Eto'o 7.5 - Good play and finish for his goal, showed what a great poacher he is. Did some very good build up work throughout the play tonight and as always gave 100% trying to win the ball back and that as always was a huge factor in the result. I hope he stays but if not his shoes will be very hard to fill.

Messi 9 - GENIUS! This guy was amazing, he created havoc all night and was afforded way too much room. His finish for his goal was perfect and he competed off the ball all night. His dribbling like Iniesta's caused problems all match and he always looked dangerous. Tonight he showed he is the "World's Best" and will easily win the player awards when they come around and rightly so. I love the way he bounces out of tackles and will get fouled but gets up and tries to keep dribbling, a vast contrast from Ronaldo who because he is so threatening from freekicks and I guess due to his personality falls to ground and sulks even when little to no contact is present. Messi is the better player and the better person.

Subs:
Keita 7 - Not a lot of time to make an impact but closed down space well and contributed in the slick passing that continued through the whole 90 minutes.

Pedro N/A - Watch out for this kid he will be lethal one day but today he only saw a few seconds.

Pep 10 - What a great coach this man has already become. He trusted the system and it payed off. Playing Messi so centrally was excellent and Man U couldn't cope with it, the use of the wide men as pulleys was superb and he has built this team into one of the games great sides.

Nothing better than seeing that purple faced twat lose.

Except seeing Ronaldo sulking! IT was like all my Christmas's at once!

Well done guys.

Couldn't bare seeing the duck billed moron or that Neville twat with their hands on that trophy again. Glad it went to a real football team icon_thumbs_u

That was somewhat well comically delivered. Hardly worthy of three [icon_lol1. though.
