It's all alleged at this stage. I don't think he did it - He was probably spitting in his direction and the touchie probably had a spack about it.

Didn't see the replay either but I reckon he would've done it. When you're having an argument about something you don't spit. And the type of bloke McKinnon is (ie GRUB) it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Was at the game, but didnt see it happen (being in a stand of course). By brother reckon's he just turned to spit, and the touch judge just happened to be there. Meh, I'm sure they'll give the Warriors a hefty fine/ban. They always do.

I am stunned that Wade McKinnon was not sent off for spitting at the touch judge. Hearing live what the touch judge reported to the referee he was obviously in no doubt about what happened. Players have been sent off on touch judge/video referee reports in the past. Why not on this occasion? Surely if he had spat at the referee he would have got his marching orders.

I thought the same thing. Seriously Ben Cummins is the softest ref in history - remember when David Faalogo punched Braith Anasta right on the chin (king hit) Cummins only game him 10 minutes!! And with the touchie absolutely certain that McKinnon spat at him, I thought send off for sure!

Spitting should be absolutel zero tolerance. Seriously it is an absolute disgusting act. In our local soccer comp back home, a lady got banned for life for spitting at the ref. So should the same happen to McKinnon if found guilty??

Players spit all the time around the field. Every player spits, when you're buggered, dehydrated, etc, you feel the need to spit. Most players do it, it's just a habit that they carry on the field.

Yep and the Warriors club even said as much today - said of course he spat. The question is whether he actually spat at the touchie. On the footage I've seen the touchie is out of shot, so you can't actually see where he is in relation to the spitting. While I agree spitting at someone is deplorable, it's gotta be tough to prove he actually directed it at the touchie.

Well Matt Hilder of the Knights has been accused of spitting on Anthony Quinn.

He was sent straight to the judiciary.

This happened with about 30 seconds before the game ended.

It looks like Quinn is wiping something from his face.
