Winter Olympics

Actually looking forward to the Winter Games this year. Hopefully Channel 9's coverage is better than 7's disgraceful coverage of both versions of the games over the years.

Would love to see Jacqui Cooper finally win the gold for Australia. She deserves it!!

Looking forward mostly to Freestyle Skiing, Luge, Skeleton, Ski Jumping and of course Bobsleigh!!!

Pretty keen to watch some Hockey, although.. I have a feeling Channel 9 will be solely hanging around Australian participants...which pisses me off.

Are you paying the $50 to get all the olympic channels? I think that's about your only hope of seeing any amount of hockey.

Frankly the winter olympics interests me about as much as the rugby yawnion world cup. Not much.

Well in that case I wont be watching any Hockey. For the most part the winter olympics is boring as shit. Almost as boring as the regular olympics.... but it has snow so it's slightly better.

I read it somewhere, I can't remember where. But it's about the amount of broadcast licences and the channels setup for active services.

The active service channels which are hidden until activated, are actually Olympic Overflow channels, hence the Olympics will always take priority.
