Josh Morris worst origin centre ever? Might be a bit harsh, I think he's pretty good.

Edit: Oh, since 1998.. I guess that's fair then.

Mind you, I don't think Josh Morris has been too bad for the NSW'kers, but it's hard to think of another worse centre since 1998.

Surprisingly, Dane only ever filled into play in the centres.

I thought at best he did a 'job' but he wasn't that great at Origin.

For me, it was basically Dane Nielsen and 'whoever happens to be the worst out of these centres' and in that regard I thought Josh Morris was worse than Matt Cooper, Timana Tahu, Paul Bowman & Chris McKenna.

The only player I considered was Berrigan who was pretty ordinary in that spot in the 05 series but I thought he was so valuable elsewhere, particularly off the bench I couldn't throw him in. Then again, Berro was one of my favourite players too - especially after THAT try.

That would be worst Origin performances rather than worst players to have played.

To me, it's one in the same.

Otherwise you may as well throw in the likes of Adam Mogg who was pretty ordinary at club level but once he put on a Queensland jersey really established himself as a folk hero.

Nielsen and McQueen added about the same in their matches so far IMO. Though the difference was we were short on centres back then, and have heaps of better back rowers now.
