OFFICIAL Jarryd Hayne signs with Titans

I'm referring to the Gold Coast Titans which is a big call when you consider the signings of Scott Prince, Luke Bailey, Preston Campbell, Greg Bird and Mat Rogers. I stand by it, Hayne was one of the few players who could take it to Greg Inglis, Billy Slater, Cooper Cronk, Cameron Smith and Johnathan Thurston and didn't have the glaring deficiencies Prince had.

NRL history? The game doesn't survive without Dally Messenger, I'm not about to let the hype blind me from that.

I think rubbishing him for not going to the Eels is a bit rough. No stability, you can't blame him for going back on his word.

Great signing for the Titans. They're going to be tough. So happy he went to a QLD club and not NSW.

1- Hayne
6- Elgey
7- Taylor
9- Peats

I think only Melbourne and the Cows can top that spine next season, and given the youth of those players, they could stay at the top for a while!

I think with this sigining in the next year sales will go up and tits will be able to be owned by someone other than the NRL. I have heard that since the arrival of Hurrell already the tits have made more money in more attendance to games, and that they are opening another section this weekend for more fans

Re: NRL Movements and Rumours - 2016

Because you've chosen to find a negative in. A huge positive.

8 players have been told to look elsewhere. I wouldn't be calling it a huge positive just yet, he hasn't even played for 2 years. Does the Titans mantra of not paying overs for players still apply? Anyone heard how much he's getting?

Lol rightio

I don't see the big deal, we got Moses Pangai suck that shit Titans:thefinger:

Enourmous signing for the Titans... I can't think of a bigger or more suprising or potentially franchise altering signing in the modern era, as Big Pete said.

Even just based on "potential" impacts of the signing:

1. Hayne to Titans
2. Inglis to Souths
3. DCE to Titans (obvs failed, but you get the pic)
4. SBW to Roosters.
5. Prince to Titans

That might become that second team Channel 9 and the NRL need for Friday nights now.
