Although I think Boyd at centre is a good move, if it really is happening then why the **** would you drop Oates?

Because Holmes is a genuine winger and Oates is a manufactured winger. That was the reasoning.

I haven't heard those comments, Kevie's rationale is that Holmes' is the current Australian winger, has won a premiership and his form at club level was irresistible. He did say that Oates had played well in his past four games and will be a part of future campaigns but in this instance he felt Holmes was the better option.

That's just me paraphrasing, if you want to hear it from the horse's mouth, 3:41.

EDIT: Haha, literally the next question Kevie goes into more detail and explains himself. You're right SF, I jumped the gun.

For those on mobile he literally said everything Freaky just mentioned. Oates is a bigger body who was manufactured into a winger and Holmes is a speedster who deserves an opportunity.

Right so Cronk is a manufactured halfback, so we should drop him despite the fact he has performed well at this level for Ash Taylor because he is a more natural halfback. Makes sense right?

Or you know what, screw it. JT is a manufactured five-eighth so let's get rid of him to get Ben Hunt in there who is a natural 6 because even though he isn't at his best right now, he can run and he's played for Australia.

You could argue that Walters like many other players are manufactured coaches too.

I'm happy with the Glasby selection. Really under rated and does a lot of things right, especially defensively. He'll do a lot of the 1% that we didn't do well in game 1.

Feel for Oates but can see what they're thinking bringing Holmes in.

I think it's a better side than Game 1.

What a load of crap.

Those wanting Kevvie back at the Broncos may get their wish, I don't think he will be SOO coach for long.

I don't understand all the talk of Cooper and the 80mins he provides. Papalli plays 80mins week in week out for the raiders (only gets rested when they're routing teams) and is probably the most damaging edge back rower in the comp at the moment.

They should've used this series to lock down our back row for the next 5 years (Papa, Gillett, McGuire) and have both edges playing 80 each game

Papallii played 57 minutes in game one, and for 30 of that his lungs were coming out of his chest.

But is that because our pack of old busted men was being hammered and on the back foot for the game.

Speaking of Walters being incompetent, the headline of Moley's scoops this morning was "If QLD lose game 2 Wayne Bennett will be the coach in 2018".

They kicked to him because they thought he was weak under the high ball. He then caught everything they threw at him and they changed tactics.

Laurie Daley watches the NRL ? No ? When was the last time C Oates dropped the ball ?
Game plan was to keep Qld in one corner of the field .

Lockie is a manufactured 5/8 ??

Different game plan . Different players to execute it .

I'm beginning to wonder if you watch any NRL. You're as big a dribbler as your namesake.

I have a funny feeling Moose is going to play prop for this game.
