Disappointing. So disappointing. We absolutely killed ourself out there. We had no direction and no leadership. Boyd does not even try and tackle or take the line on. The first big test of Siebs will be coming up soon. When he needs to make a couple of calls. Is it just me or Isaako suffering from some form of guilt over Kahu or is it that now the lack of competition has made him complacent.

I'm not even angry so I'm saying this with a clear head but that was one of the worst performances by any nrl team I've seen in the last 5 years.

I'm embarrassed so imagine the coach and team.

The coach and the team should come out publicly and apologize to the sponsors and fans for this utterly disgraceful and pathetic performance.
The warriors were worse last week, but yeah, this was bad by the broncos. I thought they were just as bad v the dragons last year in the final too.

As I suspected, TPJ is not a lock, Isaako really isn't up to NRL level, and Macca is really on thin ice.

Lodge is all class, as is Staggs and Fifita. Offa and Sua offer little and I can't see how they can justify a place in this side.

I thought Knik wasn't as bad as some people say.

No leadership as has often been said - over the last 3 years - is the key problem for this side. Boyd is an abject failure as captain and needs to forego that critical role.

Our new coach has surely seen enough to identify the dead wood and make the necessary changes.

I gotta say though, I had no idea how much of a gun Keary would turn out to be. I mean he looked solid at Souffs, but now he's probably the best half in the game with Munster. How are the Roosters so good at finding them?

He’s always been shit. He hid that shitness behind the goal kicking and those useless big muscles. Now that his goal kicking is off that shit is starting to show.

The performance was utter shit, but it still probably wouldn't crack our top 10 worst efforts of all time. It's not much consolation I know, but someone in the match thread mentioned switching the game off for the first time ever in their life, so obviously some perspective is required.

Cowboys lost their first 3 matches in their debut premiership season, speak on that naysayers?

I've seen very promising signs so far.

Tough loss, but geez, some of you are acting like you're going to end it all.

Give it time, there's still a lot of footy to be played before you write it off completely.

I'm watching the start of this season with a lot of interest. Some great signs but also some really bad ones. New coach and new structure, give it time.

I honestly don't see much change to last year. Any new structure Seibold wants still has to come off the back of attitude and playing for each other. We are sadly lacking in both and no leader to help turn it around.

No team will be worried about running at our forwards, we don't hit often enough. We don't even wrestle well enough to slow things down. Chooks had three in most tackles and were very Melbourne like timing everything just right.

So far this season I have seen far more worrying signs than positive.

Stop this fucking bullshit about Bennett tanking our squad. Put a pin in it right now.

Everyone was frothing on our squad pre season, Bennett had the same team last year knocking over good teams.

This year we’re fucked and it’s his fault. Maybe it’s the fucking coach for **** sake.

He didn't tank the squad, but he still made dumb decisions when it came to signings and re-signings. He expected to be here for the next X amount of years and then hand off the coaching to his buddy, Demetriou, so he obviously thought he was doing the right thing. He wasn't and it's clear that he fucked up.

Pathetic performance.
Watching Darius and Macca run is like watching a 100m sprint at the nursing home.
I’m happy for TPJ and Offa to look elsewhere for 2020+ in hope that we spend some money on a genuine 9 and 1.
Tie lodge down long term, along with Fifita.
Nikorima HAS to go - bench/reserves, whatever just not in this starting squad and nowhere near the 7 jersey.
I’ve got no idea what has happened to isaako in the off season, but boy has he fallen.
I hope seibold feels the pressure after this one, things need to change, and quickly. 4wks into the season and we are getting worse. It’s not good.

We will honesty be lucky to make the 8 at this stage.

Gotta admit, I was a big fan of Seibs coming here to see what he could bring and what positive changes he would make after WB. But apart from introducing nightclub music at the training sessions, what in the actual **** else has he done?

If he doesn't shake the side up after tonight's disgrace and drop 4 or 5 muppets, he can **** off back to Harvard, teaching where he belongs!

Su'A is playing in the middle so can't really blame him. But yeah everything else. And then some.

I know, but he’s underdone anyway. Better off not being there at all

What a surprise. McCullough & Boyd are copping.

No one had a good game, except maybe Lodge, Staggs & Gillett. Oates made some excellent runs but make 5 (!) errors, two were genuine try-scoring opportunities, at least one other directly led to one of their tries. Bird bombed a certain try. Isaako with 4 errors, again, in crucial periods, giving them a fresh set on our line each time.

The first 35 minutes was 75% to 25% possession to the Roosters. You can have the best captain and the best forward pack in the world, you drop that much ball and give that much possession and field position, you're fucked.

Seibold needs to get the back 5 to apologise to our forward pack. Then he needs to soap up every football they have, get the halves to kick bombs to the back 3, and send the forwards through to chase the kick and smash the backs. Every time the backs drop a bomb, they have to do a lap of the oval.

We’ll never win a premiership with Macca at 9. And it’s the final nail in the coffin with kodi at 7.

Kodi is just not the 7 that our team needs, we need a dominant organising half.
