just tuned in, first thing i see is a penalty against Burton for dissent when he questioned a call.
is this the standard now?

All because shit refs were "abused", but uh oh one was a woman so everyone has to be super nice and not be angry in a sport where 6ft 100kg+ people run into each other at 20-30km/h for 80 minutes and there's still no accountability for said shit refs still being shit

That’s the woke world we live in. Accountability is a dirty word

Its frustrating, because they will crack down for a round or two, wreck the games with over officiating and then move on to the next thing.

There were two very one sided refereeing performances last night. Luckily for us it didn’t matter but it did for the Dogs. They were just so harshly dealt with when Penrith got away with absolutely everything.

Sounds like a normal penrith game tbh

True unfortunately. It really annoyed me though because the Dogs were up for that game and in all honesty, arguably should have won but every time they got momentum, penalty Penrith.

Penrith were hitting them off the ball, backchatting the ref but as soon as Burton does it at a key moment in the game, penalty and gift two points to Penrith to take it beyond doubt. Meanwhile Luai of course is taking out kickers, yelling at the ref, shoulder charging off the ball but all good, play on.

The ref just seemed to have an issue with Canterbury from the first whistle, was extremely unprofessional.

isn't tripping a sin bin these days ... especially when the player would have scored if he wasn't tripped

Yeah that was fucked... definitely should've gone to the bin.

Arms nowhere near the play and old mate was in a massive hole.

It's almost a sin bin for a professional foul let alone the full on kicking at the legs
