Sport on the Gold Coast is just fucking cursed, seriously. Is Robina built on an aboriginal burial ground?

I'm tipping Walsh to keep the fullback spot, Ponga may get a bench position

If the injuries keep stacking up like this. Could be the year you see someone finish 5-8 and win the thing.

Early days, but if a decent team can stay injury free they are going to rack up points if others are losing players in key positions. Then its just going to be ease of draw (looking at cowboys)

Is that forward pack not the epitome of state of origin though. That bench (chefs kiss). 2 psychopathic ginger nuts and a notorious work horse.

I think you have the core group Holmes and Cobbo could possibly switch and or Taulagi being in there somewhere. Ponga Walsh is a flip of the coin I’d say Walsh is ahead as he seems to be Billy’s love child. Fifita for Capewell without a doubt as well.

Yeah it all depends on injury recovery periods. You'd assume if Fifita is recovered, he'll come in for sure. But given Qld will have a few green horns this year out of necessity, I wonder if Capewell might find his way in somewhere, maybe on the bench as he covers a lot of positions in case of injury.
