Yes, looks similar to something I posted last year. I thought Boyd forward was a good idea but WBs idea to support Nikorima may yet pay dividends. If at seasons end it's deemed a failure then WB will have questions rightfully asked of him.

I'm no footy expert, so I'm not sure if this is possible, but I'm looking forward to his eventual move to fullback so he can come forward on 4th or 5th tackle and be a kicking option for us.

Absolutely, one of the really good reasons to do it ASAP.

If he can work on his defence we have probably one of the best wingers in the comp at the moment. I do find it a worry he keeps making the same defensive errors in round 16 that he did in round 1. His kicking though, especially under pressure has been something else.

He has had his moments in defence this year but sometimes I don't think Jimmy helps much. He can get lost out wide sometimes and leaves Isaako out on a limb.

Jimmy can play tighter than he needs as he backs himself to make the ground. I think this leads to Isaako feeling like he needs to push in sometimes.

There was a perfect example of that against the raiders in their second try, Roberts pushed in and wasn’t even looking on Croker on the outside so Isaako did the right thing and shut down on Croker forcing the longer pass.

I don't care about him being fullback, I'm waiting until he replicates Lockyer and becomes our next australian 5/8 captain based at the Broncos. Push Milf to halfback, Boyd to 5/8 Isaako to fb, 3 great forwards on the bench and Niko as supersub or ISC specialist. Then after Boyd breaks down then Isaako to 5/8 and the next candidate for fb steps up.

I think people will change their mind about wanting Boyd at 5/8 when they see him play there. I've seen him play there, and it didn't exactly fill me with confidence.

Agree totally. Just doesnt have the skill set for a 5/8 imo.

If his general play kicking is anything like his drop kicks we are seriously wasting him.
