Dead on. Storm away is probably our worst possible match up. We conceded defeat last time versus the Dogs but I'm generally pretty confident whenever we play them. Stylistically, we just seem to have their number.

Yep. This game is pretty much a ticket to the Grand Final. If the boys are gonna ever be on their game again, it has to be now.

I just have it in my head that JT is going to make a line break that leads to a try in this game, probably for Gavin Cooper.

Just hoping if we get the opportunity to go for two we only take it when we're up by a converted try cause we'll need that buffer.

Love the fact that even being made to make a shitload of tackles, we're 16th for missed tackles. What a difference a year makes!

Don't really care who we play at what stage. If we're going to win the comp then we've got to beat whoever is in front of us at wherever.

Might be a little premie but got that '92/'93 feeling about the near future.

The luck of draw also comes into it though. You really want to get a break in week 2 and play the best team last, just in case you don't end up playing your "Grand Final" a week too early.

Maranta could possibly play tonight.

If Kahu's mrs goes into labour, he won't be playing. He said he isn't going to choose a footy game over being there for the birth of his child.

Nothing wrong with that.

Footy games come and go, but the birth of a child could be a once in a lifetime thing.

You'd think most players would be able to count to 9. It's pretty easy to try for a baby and get the due date sometime in the off-season.

Unless they had trouble conceiving and then it's a matter of keep trying and be happy when it happens.

Obviously. Surely you could tell my post was in jest, right?

Too bloody right. Anyone who goes back for seconds is either a slow learner or a glutton for punishment.

I haven't been this excited about a game for a long time.... Tonight we see what the boys are made of.
