some people just want the player to get his hand back on the ball for it to be a try ... but that's not the rule. once it bobbles and there is separation, even if that separation is for a bazillionth of a second. the player must regrip the ball (i.e. catch) not just get their hand back to it. there is no grey area
I'd still be pissed if that was an overturned bronco try.

Left feeling disappointed at the end of the game.

Great defensive effort for most of the game, but most of it caused by our own lack of ball discipline.
That try they scored off the 5th tackle was an absolute joke. Take a look at what Baker did….. surprised no one hasn’t mentioned it yet. He attempts to kick the ball but completely misses like a 3 year old does. All he had to do was dive on the ball and it’s our set.

Shocking call to leave Reyno and Walsh out there for so long.

Mariner, typical first game back rusty performance, he’ll be better for it.

Arthars, wow. Awesome.

More injury concerns, another performance that was hot and cold, another match with controversial ref and bunker calls.

What were the penalty & 6 again counts for/against? Seems like we never have the majority of calls.

Maybe a night of reflection needed but not exactly overjoyed.
I noticed the baker attempt, he kind of gave up on the play after that.
That's the only way I realized he got game time.

I guess if you want to watch a traditional, wear the opposition down brand of football go and support the Panthers or the Roosters. The lads we have are great defenders but high risk high reward in attack. They back their defence and it works most of the time
That's the line kevie put out.

Wtf? Our forwards were owned in the first half. A lot of luck went out way.

I don't apologise for wanting us us to earn the right to throw the football around. There's a good reason why we lost to the storm, Rooster's, and Penrith this year.

We are a quarter through the season and the big dogs have put us to sleep.

yeah but that's not it

Something drew me to hold on to the piss a bit longer and drew me back to the tele to watch the last play.

That’s broncos footy! I screamed that over and over again. I think my family hates me.
I would too if you pissed all over the patio!😂😂

Yeah I guess when your best players are out it's more difficult to beat the good teams. You also can't really expect to win every single game in the NRL nowadays. I thought our forwards were better throughout the game. Maybe a 10 minute period where I saw the tigers muscle up but we dominated them the stats show it too.

Can you explain the field position in the first half? Do go on.

To be up 30 something points with 15 to go and leave both Reynolds and Walsh on was borderline negligent.

Kevvie has done a lot of things right and become a very good coach, but he’s still absolutely clueless about stuff like this. He needs to be more aware, or the assistant coach should be flagging it. I would have rather finish the game with 11 players than keep our 2 most important players out there for absolutely no reason.

Just asking for trouble.
It was cramps and losing Madden earlier in the match meant interchange numbers were an issue. It’s very obvious that the club is being extremely cautious with injuries at this point in the season.

Literally (in the literal use of the word) did not notice him playing at all.

6 penalties and 6 errors? You are making a bad argument. How about this.

Broncos ran for more meters despite 50% possession. Made more post contact meters, more tackle breaks, our average set distance was 5 meters more and our play the ball speed was faster.

But yes cling to your field position. Dunce.
