Exactly. So many people think the sky is falling. We need to find a way to get through this period like you see Penrith and how the Storm used to. The season isnt a write off just yet.
Exactly, this is the difference between contenders and pretenders.

We have had consistent bad luck with injuries this year. It's just the nature of footy. Reynolds must be close to retirement, I hate to say it but you would think he must be starting to consider if his body can actually go on.

Hopefully Jock is ready to go. But to be honest until Walsh learns to build pressure he will just be a flash in the pan. He has a lot of toughening up to do because I believe he is showing signs of avoiding contact. I may be crazy thinking that but for me you can tell when a player isn't willing when they go missing on exit sets and Reece will often be on his haunches when we need a scoot or quick ruck.
Teddy cops it but he is always willing to truck or scoot in bad ball as much as good.

In the end this can be a real character building time for the club. We have all the excuses to fade away this season but men will stand up.

Whatever Reynolds is on its too much. He breaks all the fucking time to the point I wasn't even surprised when this happened tonight. Medically retire him please.

Even going Reynolds > Madden our attack can improve significantly on what we've seen this season if they show some respect for the ball and stop playing Clownish Football. But there's been no sign of this happening yet.

Game plan early looked like we were going to throw attack at Walker and Keary with Riki and Piakura but loosing Arthars pretty much threw that out the window. Alot of us were calling for Oates on the bench, Riki and Piakura just aren't centres and when there's a shuffle our attack is out of whack.
Being too frantic in the first half with Walsh and Mam really cost us but we still could of still won the game once we tidied that area up if we had no injuries.
We were always going to struggle once we lost Jesse.
Roosters really should of put 50+ on us tonight we had a edge of Mariner, Riki, Walters and Hetherington FFS. No Mam for 15 and 12 men for 10.
Yeah we played shit for most but we were up against it and the Roosters are a top 4 side this year.

The loss of Reynolds is big, but Madden was finding his feet. If Walsh and Mam take ownership of this team and play as they did for that period in the second half when we put 2 tries on, Madden just has to play his part and we'll still blow teams away with Cobbo and Staggs.
Reynolds down it's more Walshs time to show some maturity and play high percentage footy because that will win us games.

I was excited seeing Mam and Walsh grab the game in their hands .......
Walsh's kicking game is on the improve as well.
Our temp 7 doesn't need to do any thing flash........with those two on the fire.

Jesse gone.....Corey slots in.

Season is far from over.

I've been saying it for a while about Walsh, he needs to learn the dirty side of playing fullback. He has the highlight reel side nailed down. The rest of it though, he doesnt. He doesnt organise, his defence is average, he just doesnt do the fullback basics that well but its been overlooked because since he came back his attack has been out of this world.

Its not like he cant do it, he was great in Origin but i do wonder now if thats because he had Billy there to lean on.

Apart from the obvious tonight, I thought Payne played a bit soft. I don't know what his stats were but just a couple of his efforts were soft when we needed him to step up. I think he knew it too as he looked pretty frustrated at one point with himself.

On the flipside, I thought Baker was great. Again, I don't know what his stats were but he looked liked he was bending the line every run, got his front well and popped a nice pass. Also, I thought Piakura looked dangerous everytime he got the ball.

He's playing injured. You can tell when a player is terrified to put their body on the line by their body language, and tonight it didn't look great for Payne.

I think Payne always plays soft. He's a supreme athlete who just makes ground and does it well, and his ball playing is getting pretty good. If he had the physicality Willison does he would be a lot more destructive. Thats what frustrates me about a bloke his size.

That match was probably the worst reffered match I've ever seen before Ash Klien was absolutely horrible and cost us big.

I've been calling this all year unfortunately.

I'm not a fan currently of how we play rugby league.

I'll keep calling out our touch football, defend mistakes football.

It doesn't cut it in the NRL.

It took us to within a few minutes of a premiership... It also took one of the all time great individual performances to stop

It's not a sky is falling, it's the disrespect for ball control. It's a who gives a shit about errors.

Reece lighting is our new coach judging by how we play.

Klein had to take matters into his own hands... We were screwing up his wager

Without even looking at the injuries, that loss was coming as soon as we played a better side.

No respect for the footy, frantic Park footy crap way too often.

We have a world class pack and we don't use them properly. Bash through the middle and earn the tries wide. The try for 18 all was picture perfect on the back of a huge Patty run and runners against the grain.

We then get Riki out in the centres and run all our shape that way, real smart. Mariner that fucking clown not even trying to pretend to wrap his arms too, well done. Teddy is already a protected species, and you go and do that shit. Ridiculous.

I hope its the kick up the ass like Souffs was last year, but the amount of key injuries/HIAs that are going against us is going to make it incredibly challening.

We are going to need to see a far more level headed maturity out of blokes like Walsh and Ezra more now than ever. You don't have to put away the flare, just be smarter about it. Oh and ffs, nobody kicks before tackle 4, ever again. FMD
