The first half showed they didn't even deserve to be there!

The polar opposite of the brilliant panthers v roosters game.

Welcome home Wayne.

Huge difference to the team when Gillett went off and Sam went to the right edge

As usual, the team goes out onto the field half asleep and concedes a mountain of points early.

We decide to play some football from about the 50th minute to the 70th minute, then switch off again.

Summed our season up pretty much. Glimpses of brilliant play, mixed with terrible defence, poor 5th tackle options and bad handling mistakes.

Tell them training is on Monday.

you get a mad Monday when you win something. we don't celebrate finishing 8th. anyone celebrating will have their contract torn up on the spot.

ps tell Hunt and McGuire they'll get an upgrade when they stand up in a game that matters. they aren't worth shit in big games.

Everything I didn't want to have happen, happened. Poor structure and the wrong players started the match. Scott ran over the top of McGuire and co. Should have had Hannant and Kennedy up front to put a bit of sting on. So glad the Griffin era is over and would have preferred to have him leave after 8 rounds. Idiotic mistakes, kicking out on the restart,Hodges throwing the ball away when he should have been focused on ball security,Hodges kicking dead on the fourth, failing to retain possession when control was necessary. Looking forward to 2015...how long till round 1 ?

Letting Gillett play this game was beyond retarded. He already can't defend, and now he only had one working arm. Should have moved Thaiday there and Parker to lock from the start.

Kennedy wasn't any better than McGuire.

So in essence, the team played its best football when the time away from Griffin was the greatest?

Bit of a double whammy I reckon.

Broncos were shocking in the first half and basically gifted tries to the Cowboys.

On the other hand, Cows weren't much better and played really poorly at times.

Don't think they're going to do a whole lot this finals series.

For the Broncos, conceding 24 points in the 1st half was the killer and while they threatened to comeback it was always going to be tough and all it took was for a few calls to go against us to eventually put us away. Still, I was impressed by the resolve shown by the likes of Parker, Vidot, Thaiday, Hodges, Hannant & McGuire. They could have thrown in the towel, but they showed plenty of pride and kept fighting until the end.

For mine, the season was over against Souths so I didn't take this too rough. Just to make the 8 was a decent effort and while I hate to take that attitude I was resigned to a poor season from the moment Milford announced his intentions...

2015 I'll be feeling some real emotions.

The first half showed they didn't even deserve to be there!

The second half showed why they did deserve to be there. Most of the teams below us on the table would've folded in the second half (look at Parramatta the last two weeks).

In the end it is the same two things that have cost us all season - shit goalkicking and unforced errors (out on the full from kicking, failing to catch the ball from kick off, at least 4 knock ons with no one near them). Despite these occurring every week the Broncos have still found themselves in the contest in most games with 10 to go this year. Wayne will surely address both of these issues next year and if so, I believe we will be specials for the premiership.

That was pretty much how we played the whole of the season, great in patches but dire in the rest. Hopefully we can play 80 minutes consistently next year, we won the second half of this game 20-8 FFS.

Pretty simple, we were always **** all chance of winning being down by 24 points.

The positive was that we got something to cheer about in the 2nd half.

i would really love us to be more ruthless and aggressive in defence, currently it's hard to see teams physically fearing us.

I want the Panthers to win....I originally wanted the Cows but, nah. Penrith seem to have something that only Melbourne has....every single player knows their job. I just can't see the Cows getting there. Maybe it is Souths year ! Lost so much interest in this years finals now.....
