There aren't many top level halfbacks available ever. Hunt has his issues but the likelihood of being able to afford better in 12 months is zilch. His manager might be playing a few media games, but I don't see someone who has stuck around as long as he has, just up and leaving all of a sudden when his patience is finally paying off...

Roosters have to release him from his contract for us to get him to play for us in 2017. I guess Joe is saying that is 'possible'. We released Copley who played for them last year, they 'may' do the same for a whole range of reasons for us, hence 'possible'.

He is a free agent in 2018 meaning we can sign him to play for us then without contractual issues from any other club and Joe thinks that will 'probably' happen.

Because the Roosters are going to ensure that their future rep prop is going to get the money he is searching for. Napa will prefer to stay in a setup that he is familiar with rather than the pressure cooker that is the Brisbane Broncos. I could be wrong of course but I am not anticipating Napa donning the Bronco colours any time soon.

Who said they'd be renegades? :) I just said i'd sign a convicted criminal if it made the team better. The natural assumption is that he would be a team player, otherwise it's safe to assume the team won't improve overall.



Committing serious offenses doesn't stop people from becoming rich and famous anyway, so why should this apply only to sport? /can of worms



I say this sincerely - if you want to put moral weight into a game with a bunch of guys who've in a bubble for most of their lives and get paid more than any of us to run around with a ball because they're more physically gifted than the rest of us, more power to you. I don't care. I don't consider them role models, I don't care who or what they are in their time away from the field, I support them because I like who they are on the field. If the NRL registers them, I don't give a shit what they did previously. Sport to me is a hobby, something to pass time, it doesn't reflect my opinions or my personality, it's just something to do. Like me shooting someone in the head online - something to do, nothing more nothing less.

Being "proud of your team" IMO (in the event they are serial losers), is the catcall of someone who's ok accepting failure. It's the whole the winner ***** the prom queen and the losers cry about doing their best/community pride mentality.

This is not just about you or me, besides there's a difference between being serial losers and winning at all costs.

His family is here and they're a tight-knot group. Comfort will not be a problem. I have asked my brother's GF 3 times now to ask about Napa coming here. They won't tell her anything, and she's family. Make of that what you will.

His move to Brisbane is reliant on Roosters signing a Player to replace him for 2017. That player also requires a release from his current club.

If that happens, Napa will be a Bronco sooner than 2018.
