Anyone who blames the refs for this game needs a backhand, they were shit, they're always going to be shit. It doesn't change the fact that we should've been up by 15-20 points at about the 50 minute mark, our attack is absolute hot garbage, has been for a long time. And once we come to the realisation mid-game that we have nobody good enough to score points against teams, we just give up defensively, hence the blowouts.

I'd love to go back and have a look at our "big" wins this season, seems like they're all against struggling sides low on confidence, apart from that it's just scrappy, ugly to watch, close, unenjoyable wins. Couldn't care less that we finished in the top 4, we're playing a brand of football with a side of overpaid, over-hyped players that don't get me excited to watch us play. Overhaul needed, possibly starting at the top, might be time to retire old boy.

Remember how we weren't allowed to say "I told you so" when he got us to the GF? Well you shouldn't really be allowed to say anything after he got us one game from the GF.

this has been the problem all year. yes we won games but it's how we won those games. nothing was convincing. the only convincing win we had was against the roosters and the titans. those scrappy wins just sugar coated our major problems and bennett was powerless to get it right.

Got beat by a better team. Had the wrong game plan and playing Boyd was wrong. Second time WB has done that from memory. We weren't forecast to make the 8 and have exceeded predictions. Would have started Offa and Thaiday myself. Didn't have a captain in the middle, a real leader. Did well to hold them early but as I forecast, the Storm were poor early and the week off paid off in the last 20. Exactly as I said and about the only thing that turned out right for me ha ha.

Overall, a good year and 12 other teams wished they went that well in 2017
