Round 11 Discussion

Yeah it's fair, but it's a rough way to lose. I guess we won in the same fashion and the media blew up about it, so I'm expecting similar outrage...
You're unfamiliar with the NRL media I see [emoji23]

Fair point and you should be correct in your assessment but the media is completely fucked in their bias. Nothing but Rabbitohs success headlines in all the articles.

Just watched the Tit vs Knights game highlights-that flick pass from Dropley was metres forward to the winger and it was still allowed!?!?

He didn't get involved, he pulled out when he was called offside as you could tell by the front on angle, the only reason the penalty was blown is because Reynolds shifted and kicked it left footed, if he kicked it regularly it would've been no penalty.

Reynolds changed and switched to the left foot because of the attention of Granville.

That's having an impact on the play.

Plus, Granville also left early. Players have been penalized all season for leaving early regardless of whether they even get involved.

Gillett was done for it against the Cowboys.

Storm vs Manly.

I don't care what happens as long as one of them lose.

No wonder the Cowboys are going so shit this year. Their "we're always robbed" sympathy points have finally dried up and they're now accountable for their own performances.

Watching the replay, I'm convinced Granville didn't go early. Souths were also about 5m offside on the short dropout.

That being said, suck it Cowboys.

Since it's not PC to wish injuries on players, I'll settle for mass long-term suspensions between both teams. Maybe they all line up and punch each other in the faces, they're all sent off, the game is scrapped (zero comp points each) and they're all referred straight to the judiciary.

It could happen.

I've got Storm here. Manly have even bringing it the last couple of weeks but they must be running out of steam.

Smith is a big out but Storm should be too strong at home.

Also, 308 games for Slater and this is his first time as captain? Hard to believe he hasn't been called upon before. Guess it speaks volumes of the durability of Smith.

Smith isn't playing so the laws of chance dictate there will be less injuries.

Never been one for PC anyway........Wish away, fine by me.

This game is a bit of a sneak peak for how Slater will perform without Smith.

Interested to see how it plays out. As always, hoping for a Storm loss, hopefully a controversial one too.

Oh, how I want to believe!

Lol what was that from Vunivalu?

Not sure if Billy Slater or George Burgess.

Tom Trbojevic to score a hat-trick.

Exactly why I hate those Storm fuckwits. Scrum play purely designed to milk a penalty. Because why play league when you can just game the rules for an advantage.
