Kodi Nikorima Joins the Warriors

Would rather keep him at 14 and run Dearden at halfback if he is only on 250k. You wont replace him with a player anywhere near his talent level for that much.

No point keeping a guy who will play 15 - 20 minutes a game. It's a wasted bench spot, and a bandaid solution to the issue at Hooker.

Well instead of giving smart ass comments, how about you tell us who should have been playing halfback during Bennett’s reign. Dargan?
If you can't deal with the uppercut, don't start throwing punches... you know perfectly well what my thoughts on the matter are, but you're not very good at this reverse psychology stuff, much less trying to box me in.

The Kodi experiment was definitely not working, but Wayne insisted on pushing that square peg in that roung hole, instead of trying a different round peg, even if it only fit loosely. There were enough round pegs going around to give it a try.

Dargan would certainly have been an option worth trying, he's one guy I did see play quite a bit who would fit the mould to partner Milford. We also had a great option in Ash Taylor too, whom he knew to be a great option, but he let go of him a year early (which was the right thing to do by the kid, but not so much by the club), and wasn't able to lure him back.
There were others certainly worth looking into on the market at different stages (Blake Green, Aiden Sezer, etc...), who would also fit the mould of the player we needed to partner Milford much better than Kodi did.

Cool story bro, that bold part needs more dragons though...
It didn't happen in 2 years, why would it suddenly happen now, if not to pretend Seibold didn't do anything WB wouldn't?

That's because they weren't even close, but sua, Fifita ,haas , staggs, turpin, Shiba isaako say HI !

Being forced into something is quite different from willingly make changes. Most of those players were brought in as consequence of injuries, not deliberate choices to take a different path.

Dargan wasn't playing better than Kodi which is saying something and Ash Taylor wasn't ready and then he left. The others you named weren't options because they weren't at the club. So you don't have a reasonable answer. Can we block mods yet?
That is a reasonable answer. The fact it doesn't make you happy, is a strong indication I am probably on the right path too.

I reckon the plan behind Deardon playing instead of kodi on Thursday is to see how Deardon handles the big stage before releasing kodi. If Deardon totally buggers it up they may just tell kodi he can't leave till 2020 to give Deardon more time to develop. That's what I would do. Look after your club first.

Thats presuming Nikorima only plays 15-20 mins. We could quite easily play him for 40 mins a game and change the way we use him and Macca.

Yeah, that could be done. But I'd still be of the opinion that having 2 hookers is wasted money.

I doubt it was because of our hookers that we made the grand final. It was a distraction at best for Hunt/Milford and gave them room.

I’m pretty sure it was that year that Kodi won us a game vs Souths (or Canberra) on his own off the bench. If we don’t win that game, who knows what happens in that season. A reaching example perhaps, but it’s not something that should be dismissed so quickly

It wasnt all down to them, but it certainley gave us a different point of attack.
