Boyd had been more crapier, in terms of conceding tries and putting his body on the line. Darius let in 12 points alone and they drop Roberts, effin stinks.

These form talk is hogwash, Roberts being sidelined was a distraction from the real issue about Boyd being the worst fullback in the comp.

I agree with some here.. Good riddance. Roberts was real good to watch when he had his head in the game but.... more often than not just didn't turn up. For mine we should get rid of Bird as well.. useless for our team and cost a packet. In my humble opinion we should be like the old days and develop our own youngsters instead of the NSW ring ins. I Bennett had not payed overs for these guys we would have the money in our salary cap to keep our great young talent. I don't care if it takes a few seasons to get the young Queenslanders in the Broncos feeders up to NRL standards, Mr Seibold should also look at some of the better UK players if he wants to bring in experienced talent.. it has not worked so well for us in the past but other clubs have been very successful going down that road. Also just a point I would like to make to the Seibold haters... early last year Souths were an undisciplined rabble and it was Anthony Seibold who cemented that team together and made them the good team Bennett walked right into.... He didn't build Souths to what they are today Seibold did. Given a fair go and I believe he can do the same for our young side.

Being fair, Seibold didnt build Souths either, Mcguire did. And are you saying we should get rid of NSW ring in's like Haas, TPJ, Lodge and Staggs?

Kinda agree. Although Boyd's form has improved. Great games against Roosters and Eagles. Warriors average. Was one of the loudest voices saying he needs to go, especially after all the dives instead of having a go. I think with all this cash up our sleeves we need a top tier fullback, and either retire or move Boyd dependent on longer term form, and if he keeps diving in 1 on 1 situations, it's a fucking shit look. Makes him a laughing stock. Whatever if Jimmy wasn't buying in then cya later.....Boyd too if he reverts.

So this sounds as if Benny and Jimmy were planning this for some time. Benny says himself he had to throw everyone off the scent by lying.

Seems to me they contacted our player outside of the negotiation window. Broncos have let it go, but we're setting a bad precedent as being a soft touch club.
