That I agree with, Bennett had to go. But so far after seibs hot start last year his record from the back end till now has been abysmal.

He was the best of the realistic options imo. I wanted Hasler but I don't think he was even considered.

For reference I got the feeling listening to Seibold talk in his interview on NRL 360 a few weeks back that he's pretty much out on Milford.

They were discussing the halves situation and releasing Nikorima etc, he was saying he's got huge wraps on Dearden and thinks he can be the future for the club, and then they touched on the other depth at the club and he said something along the lines of "We've got a couple of other young guys coming through like O'Sullivan, Boyd & Paix. And Milf still has a year left on his contract"

That isn't really something you'd say if you were invested in the Milf & Dearden combination, in fact I wouldn't be totally shocked if this is the last season of Milford in Broncos colours.

I would have taken dezzy, still think Walters was a good choice.

the best part about being a fan of a footy team is we sit back and watch the drama unfold, powerless over what will happen to our team. We are on a ride, remember these tough times, it will make the good times extra special when we get back to the top

I wouldn’t at all be surprised if Milford is gone when his contract is up. He has done nothing since 2015.
He isn’t worth half his current contract $.
If they do offer him anything, I’d be surprised if it was over 400k. He will probably end up in Melbourne and kill it.

Corey Oates means way too much to this team for him to deliver a performance like he did tonight.

It's no coincidence that when Oates goes well, the Broncos play well. His charges inside the Broncos half are so inspirational and without those the team just loses it's way. Tonight, he played worse than Kennar did the week before and was beyond poor. I cannot believe he only made 13 hit-ups either. Oates owed the team after his poor first half and it boggles my mind how he doesn't average 20+ hit-ups a game.

He should be the Broncos Blake Ferguson, instead he's like a poor man's version of Manu Vatuvei.
Agree about Oates but disagree about Kennar, I thought he went pretty well last week. Couple of poor decisions in defense but seemingly par for the course with this team at the mo. I'm a fan of Isaako but wouldn't mind him dropping out for a bit, maybe playing some fullback in ISC, and giving Richie another shot to see what else he can do.

I think Milford will stay, but I don't think it's going to be at 5/8.

There are zero positives in tonight's loss. None. We were embarrassed and it was a disgraceful performance on all levels.

But. There is one difference this week.

Go watch Seibs presser. For the first time this season, he looks genuinely disappointed, embarrassed and at a loss for words. You can clearly see this loss tonight hurt him.

Does that spark something in this club? I doubt it but anything's possible.

Long time fan first-time poster. I think it's pretty clear that we need to get Wayne back from the Rabbitohs to get Boyd and McCullough back to their best and firing again. Why did we do all this work under (wink) the salary cap to let the greatest human being ever to be born in SE Queensland go and coach a rival team to a Premiership? It's ridiculous. Get Andrew Gee to talk to Wanye about coming. It's the only way to save this season.

Titans had us figured out, and now Parra.
They were playing totally opposite to our 'structured bs', they offload and support the ball carrier whether be 1st or 5th tackle. We were fodder, they know we won't string two passes together before the 5th and had has corralled like timid lambs.
Can't tell the difference who the older heads are, and who the rookies are, all headless chooks out there.
This was difficult to watch, I got more excitement watching the lower placed teams play on Friday night. If we played the Storm tomorrow, they'd put a 100 on us.

Journalists, commentators, past players, rival fans, players and coaches are all laughing at us now. Somebody already mentioned it in this thread, we are still holding on to the hope of past glory but in reality mediocrity has become us.

Kennar should be replacing Isaako next week.

Boyd take Shiba's spot and get Alfie Langer at fullback.

Honestly, at this point I don't care but if we persist with the same line up I'm writing off our season.

Seibs' was seething in the press conference.

Basically said they didn't play well enough and ever since Origin I, there's players in the team who are valuing their representative jersey over their club jersey. Said the players weren't physically up to it and while Parramatta came to make a game of it, the Broncos dipped their toe in the water. The only hint of praise he gave was that they didn't switch off entirely in the second half, but even so, was upset with Turpin mistake for the Hoffman try.

He looked beyond frustrated and couldn't provide too many answers because now he has to see where the cards fall after Origin II.

Absolute fucking cop out from Seibold. Besides from Oates tonight, who the **** else was he referring to? Ofahengaue wasn’t playing and Fifita, Haas and Gillett didn’t do a lot wrong that would have suggested they were playing distracted.

Seibold is taking the absolute fucking piss lately with his press conferences and I for one am
refusing to have the fucking wool pulled over my eyes.

I’m sick of fucking excuses. Had an absolute fucking gutful. You either turn up and have a dig and do what you are paid to do or you shut the **** up and own the result.

The sooner performance based contracts come
into the game, the sooner these type
of performances (and we aren’t the only guilty team)
are kept to a minimum. If I go missing for 2 weeks and don’t show up for work I don’t get paid. And if I were to continually underperform in my role I would be sacked.

These useless pricks should be given the Bellamy treatment where they are made to work for 2 weeks labouring whilst training at nights in the off season after working all day to appreciate what they have got. Especially with a young group like ours it would
no doubt harden them up mentally as well as make
them 100% committed to doing everything within their power to perform every week and have the right attitude. This is why the Storm are where they are and we are in the bottom 4.

Where the **** is the accountability? It’s hiding behind a wall of fucking excuses whilst Seibold fires up the old PR machine again.

Clear out the deadwood and buy some fucking leaders!!!

Well, I didn't say anything about Kennar's performance, other than that he played better than an Origin representative. Kennar was slow as molasses and the one time he was pressured under the high ball he dropped it, but he had a dig which is more than I can say for Oates.

It’s really sad to think nearly all of
Milfords running Prime has been, and will continue to be wasted trying to make him into something he’s not. I know he shows flashes of being a good playmaker, but those games are few and far between... almost like he should be a playmaking option, but not relied upon. Maybe... like a fullback or something? Seriously, go watch his raiders highlights if you dare. Seriously depressing how such a talent has been absolutely squandered at our club.
