Tesi Niu Discussion

RTS also, and he came back a little off the pace but I can’t remember how quickly he recovered to full strength. Wasn’t too long IIRC.

Yeah that was in 2016, it took him two years to get back to his best.

Didnt Tommy T do his knee against us a couple of years ago

I did hear from a surgeon at one point that kangaroo ligaments or tendons were being researched as suitable replacements, primarily for football injuries. Was a few years ago now, so not sure if it ended up happening or not.
That must be what they did to Coates' knees. Motherfucker can jump.

I believe that they had to can that due to bad side effects including players breaking into hops instead of running, stopping to chew the grass on the field and having urges to stick the ball up their jumpers.

Couldnt remember how long. It always feels like to me Turbo picks up a lot of injuries

He actually hadn't missed that much football before this season. He missed the first half with a hamstring injury which he injured again and then he tore his pec to end his season.

Well apparently we can all stop guessing because it’s been decided who will play fullback. I just looked up Jesse Arthars Wikipedia and it says categorically that he is playing fullback so Milford can go back to 5/8. Must be true it’s Wikipedia.

Isaako deserves to be given first shot.

Arthars should earn the chance like Isaako has.

Although I do believe Arthars could have a higher ceiling of potential at fullback.

Ultimately, I want the club to hold on to Tesi and play him as our long term fullback.

If Wikipedia were correct, it wouldn’t be a horrible backline.. At least we’d be trying something.

Croft looked a lot better in the AUS Under 23’s side. He must lose the nerves and play better outside of the Storm system.

I’m pretty sure Arthars was at the Storm at some point so he probably has a good base of knowledge on what makes a good player. Someone like Charnz Nicholl Klokstad was a Storm junior and that’s why I wasn’t surprised at what he did this year for the Raiders.

1. Arthars
6. Milford
7. Croft
9. Turpin

Turpin also a Storm junior.

Turpin is a Brothers junior.

Storm NYC team though think seibold mentioned having something to do with him there

Turpin is a Brothers junior.

He played juniors at the storm. Storm junior.

He’s been in the storm system as a junior.

Not sure if you’re just trying to get technical to prove something?

I consider players who played for an NRL club in under 20’s, a junior of the club.

Hence, Storm junior.

Well you would be wrong on that one ...

p.s. he has been dropped from the side for this weekends game against Australia

Hate to burst you bubble, but you are wrong about that. U20's was a youth competition, not a junior competition. That's why it was known as the National Youth Competition. I'm not an expert on this and @1910 Or @Big Pete may be able to help me out here, but I believe junior football is up to 17 years old? So the u18's comp is for juniors. Doesn't hurt to educate yourself.
