Naturally this documentary only gives one side of a story. It's riddled with misleading information, incomplete information, misinformation and finally outright lies. That said it also has truthful elements woven throughout. Hopefully our Harvard chappie uses a little critical thinking. I do like Boyd trying something new, it does demonstrate he understands he has to be better.

Big athletes man. A guy I went to high school with was an elite rower. Trained before and after school. He's the only kid I'd ever met that took 2 lunch boxes to school haha. One of them was just boiled potatoes. I went to subway with him one time and he knocked off 2 foot longs and got a couple of cookies on the way out. Machine.

Bah, two foot longs and some cookies? Don't need to be a big athlete to do that, my man. Take me out to lunch and I'll show you. 😉

He is now openly trying to sabotage our team. What does he have to do to be stripped of the captaincy. **** White and his loyalty,I would rather have a young gun like Herbie in any position than the embarrassment that Boyd has become.

Any good Netflix docos about climbing Everest? Climbing season is smack bang in the middle of NRL season, but would be a real lift to see the first vegan NRL player attempting the summit.

Yeah, to be honest, it sounds like a bunch of shit. You need a good balance, I'd imagine the vegan athletes need a lot of supplementation to try to reach that balance.

Has there been any peer-reviewed research on vegan diets helping athletes?
Yes. Well there's at least quality studies done and as far as I can tell one of the studies cited in the documentary actually states that vegan diet adherents don't fair as well as omnivores! They selectively pull info out of the study, crow about it but leave out the essential parts, you know the bits that don't endorse their views.

Humans are Omnivores for ***** sake.
About all we have going right now is a couple of giants who are going to lose mass thanks to Boyd.

Just when I thought that Darius couln't perform any worse, I read this article. The movie itself is all about making plenty of dough for the film makers. I have been in the training and sports performance industry for over 25 years and can say without question, the Vegan diet and really the vegitarian diet for that matter is one of the all time worst for performance. And just so nobody spouts any bullshit, I did happen to be a vegitarian from 19-24 which just also happened to be the five most unhealthy years of my 51 year old life.
