Storm 800k!?
Not bad for a city that couldn't give 2 shits about league. Cowboys actually surprised me the most. 15k? Lolo and Morgan should surely attract something.

I guess boats are counted under third party deals for the Storm these days.

Storm ay..

99% of that is Smith for the Storm.

I have spoken about this before when people think TPA are a land of milk and honey, managers don't chase them.

Laziness and danger of them falling through then you need to work hard again to chase them. They put all their efforts into getting the money from playing- why take 600,000 from the club and 200,000 from Nike when I can just say to the Tigers I want $800,000.

Deals fell from 205 to 172. Slater and Thurston would account for some of that.

One of the replies to the tweet said for some reason Cronk and Tedesco weren't counted for some reason...Can anyone confirm?

Roosters were 200k last year, and fell this year, maybe deals ended and weren't renewed. Cronk might have finished some deals.

Nine, Holden, and KFC don't count, if you did all of them you wouldn't appear in that figure.

Is JT13 really very marketable, he's an awesome player but he doesn't say much and keeps to himself. He's on a massive deal too- he might not care too much about an extra 75k for doing an ad.

If you were seeking a spokesmen for your company which Rooster would you seek out?

Keary would be about it for me.
Tedesco, Cronk, Mitchell, Cordner( I can't even hate that guy as NSW captain, he's too nice). If Keary was your pick then......ok.

Cronk is retired so I wasn't including him, he also shuts himself off for large parts of the year. Not really great for promotion.

Tedesco I thought of but again he's hardly a wordsmith.

Clearly companies aren't chasing them, where do you see them? What promotion are they doing?

They also have money through the sponsors that are game sponsors so that might be more than enough for both of them.

It's also 'arm length' ones, the ones your manager does. It doesn't mean you're not still getting TPA through the cap or nine, KFC or Holden.

6 million is the total TPA and these manager ones are 2.7 million of that.

It was for the 2019 season so Cronk wasn't retired. I don't reside in Sydney so I don't see them anywhere. Same as I don't see Cam Smith anywhere even though he apparently takes up 99% of 800k, and I'm in Victoria.

Smith does VB and Brisbane Airport and Nike.

Amazing that the Storm and Roosters are seemingly on opposite ends of the spectrum, yet the Roosters are the ones with back2back premierships. What an absolute gee up. Politis and Bellyache are running this competition.

Why do you not believe managers are lazy?

I see if like this, if my client is Cronk and he says I want a million dollars and I will do some tv.

If the Roosters give me 800k and Holden and FOX give me $200,000. There is my million and only 800k is on the cap and Cronk wouldn't appear under that 68k.

My client is happy and I am not chasing Maccas for a sponsorship.

What happened to all of Uncle Nick's "business contacts"? Weren't they supposed to be the reason the Roosters were able to assemble a $12m roster on a $10m cap?

I recall that there was an article (sorry i cant remember which news source) no more than 3 months ago about TPAs and it stated melb, bris and roosters were the 3 highest, and now suddenly the roosters arent featured there now? This is one of the best examples of agenda driven, bias journalism ever.

I don’t understand why they feel the need to exclude the games partners TPA’s though. It just reeks of trying to hide something.

That article said we were close to a million if I remember correctly. Who’s to say some of these TPAs haven’t finished at the time of this latest articles printing?I’m no accountant though.

Would love to see a breakdown of the company’s that make up the storms 800k plus a description of what the players involved actually do for the money.

That article was the 2018 values.

The latest numbers being published are the 2019 values.

Third party agreements don't include winnings from impromptu bets while playing against rich club supporters.
