Round 1 - Broncos vs Eels

No they didn’t. We went from 90% completions to something like 60 in the second half. Dropped balls, missed tackles and poor execution from our halves, primarily Croft but also Milford.

Parra have iced this game with 24 unanswered points in the second half.

We as a club have learned absolutely nothing.
Have you even watched the game?

Seems like Isaako still has the same issue Seibold spoke on last preseason: He doesn't have the fitness to be one of the top fullbacks. Looked like he was out on his feet the last 30 minutes

I just feel so angry and not for the reasons I thought I would. That was one of the worst refereeing performances I've ever seen. There is legitimately no way that refereeing can be justified.

Sadly I paid to watch that bullshit performance by the refs! Was the worse refereeing I've ever ever seen

Don't know about that mate. Pretty sure the refs arse fucked us into oblivion right from kick off.

Not sure whether it's a directive from the NRL, but channel nein non coverage of replays for contentious calls against broncs was maddening.

Did Mahoney ground the ball?

Did Brown lose the ball into Mead?

Did Turpin ground the ball?

There is absolutely zero chance you watched that game. The only way Parra got back into that was on two tries that weren't and every single decision, even some made up ones, going the Eels way. That refereeing literally cost us the game, there is no way that can be argued by anyone who watched that.

A bit of context wouldn't go astray.

Without even mentioning the refereeing, we lost two players in the first half and one more in the second. When things like that happen, all you can do is try your best. The boys did well to stay in the game as long as they did after all that went against us.

He’s just a physically weak human being. I’m not even taking the piss. For a guy who’s as jacked as he is, he just looks so soft. Plus he has a terrible passing game
