While Riki is out, I hope they have him training at centre to see if he can play that Luke Capewell style role. Off not they can at least say they tried it. As for the line up:

1. Isaako
2. Coates
3. Arthars
4. Farnworth (vC)
5. Oates (C)
6. Milford
7. Gamble
8. Lodge (vc)
9. Levi/Turpin
10. Hass
11. Asiata
12. Pangai Jr
13. Croft
14. Hetherington
15. Flegler
16. Kennedy
17. Bullemor
18. Turpin/ Levi

Farnworth, Lodge and Oates are on different thirds of the field. It's an idea borrowed from AFL to have leaders in different sections of the field. In their case it's centre, forward line and backline. Adapting it here, it's left, right and middle.

Having Croft(for example) at Lock and Hetherington in 14 is to get more production out of the utility interchange. It's not enough to beat the roosters yet, but mid to long term it could work.

6. Croft (vc)

16. Kennedy
17. Turpin

I'd drop Milford simply because he offers nothing. He defended fairly last night but so does Croft, every fucking game. I think Croft could work out a plan with Gamble and while they wouldn't be described as a talented duo they could do a serviceable job if the forwards were committed. I'd even consider using Kennedy and Lodge to start with Haas and Tpj in the second row. An all out front row assault. After twenty move Haas forward with the benchie Flegler and bring on Bullemor to partner TPJ in the second row.

We do need to try things.

Yeah.....Oates and Farnworth are literally right next to each other.

What I would go with:

1. Farnworth(VC)
2. Coates
3. Arthars
4. Isaako
5. Oates
6. Milford
7. Gamble
8. Lodge
9. Levi
10. Haas
11. Asiata
12. TPJ (C)
13. Bullemor
14. Turpin
15. Flegler
16. Kennedy
17. Palasia

The big changes would be to finally make the move for Herbie to take fullback, I think this will help massively in defence at the minimum but I think with space Herbie is a more damaging ball runner then Isaako, then I would put Asiata on the 2nd row so we have two ball playing second rowers which should help our attack be more damaging on both sides, I think Bullemor deserves a starting spot and considering his fitness lock would ideal, Drop Turpin for Levi as a starter but keep Turpin on the bench to let him redeem himself. Palasia can come on as backrower relief if need be.

Hunt can be 18th man.

Fair enough. For some weird reason I thought Arthars was beside Oates. I originally thought
8.Lodge vc
9. Turpin/Levi
10. Kennedy
11. Hass vc
12. TPJ (C)
13. Asiata
With Piakura on the bench, Croft left out, but realised that Asiata was probably more of a like for like replacement for Glenn.

But could you imagine Hass and TPJ both running at the halves? Robinson would probably have nightmares about it with their injury list.

we're absolutely screwed next week. Tedesco is just going to fall into tackles and get on his knees where possible to milk penalties/sin bins. Might be the first forfeit in god knows how long.

Welcome Bertram!
Your prediction on Tedesco is likely correct. I think we should simply not tackle. Just kick off and let them win 300 nil. It'd be hilarious hearing the other teams squeal about for and against. Seriously though, I cannot see a win but we'll probably jag another one somewhere before the season is over.

We’ll beat ourselves often so that’s a win in my eyes.

He also now knows that it leads to a free interchange.... Robinson was playing some 4D chess with his rant last week:
- Complain about the ref and call them incompetent
- Won't get suspended because NSWRL is weak on roosters
- Even if he does get fined Uncle Nick will pay it from the golf course
- Vlando being the egotistical moron that he is will reactively ramp up high tackle penalties, increasing the sin bins that he complained about originally
- Teddy always falls into tackles, therefore defenders will go to the bin whenever they try to tackle Teddy
- Defender will be put on report so they can use free interchanges to rotate the forwards

Robinson has created an NRL where he'll be playing 13v12 regularly and have 15 interchanges a game
