IMO Kelly is a better partner for Reynolds than Gamble is. I have great respect for Gamble, but with a controlling half, the running game and class of Kelly should be pretty lethal.

Hunt should only return to play hooker. Hes 31 now. We have too many reasonable options in the halves already.

It really depends on what shape Kelly comes back in. I know he lost a lot of weight last year, but still think he needs to lose another 5kg to be back to his ideal NRL weight.

If he comes back and he's still a bit chunky, I'd probably lean towards just having Gamble in there with Reynolds to start with, until such time as a Ezra Mam or possibly even Te Maire Martin puts their hand up with QCUP form.

I think so too but I have to say, it can't be a good environment at your club if you are trying to punt BOTH captains.

It isn't surprising, he is at best an average hooker. I mean that in full seriousness. Very few players in the NRL or even next level down are just pure rubbish (unless your last name is Manihera) but I reckon you could take at least 5 Q Cup hookers and swap them with Turps and the Broncos would be either a better team or no worse than currently. No. 9 is too important a position these days to have a plodder.
